I saw this film on video when I was really young it was after Almodovar's films one of the first indies I saw. It is a commentary on eating disorders and obsession with weight and the characters are very interesting. I did not know it but the same director directed Deja Vu in 1997 which I also loved. I think I will watch this again to see how I see it now as an adult.
