Considering this is doing so well at the box office I'd be surprised if the studio wants to stop at 2 (not unless the 2nd one bombs badly). I wonder if they'll try creating a shared universe by adapting other King's novels. Either that or I could see them doing a prequel to the first film centering around a new group of kids in the 60's.

I like a shared universe. Also It doesn't stop at one book. The Crimson King talks about Derry and Ralph sees a version of it.

11/22/63 starts out with Bev and Ritchie dancing for a contest asking Jake if he was the clown.

Tommy knockers reference a smiling clown in Derry

Dreamcatcher has The aliens seeing a clown in a drain.

Didn't Duddits also live in Derry?

Yes chilone, he did. Derry appeared in Dreamcatcher and also in Indsomnia, I believe. Showed up briefly in 11/22/63 too.

Also, the Tracker Brothers are mentioned in Dreamcatcher and It. I seem to remember possibly other stories but I could be wrong.

Damn it this is really scary I haven't watched this movie yet but after coming to this thread I watched the trailer damn man I want to watch it!

I will surely let you know about this, I didn't get time to watch it but on a coming Saturday will definitely.
