Discuss Tomb Raider

This COULD be the most faithful videogame adaptation ever!

I just hope it isn't a watered down PG-13.

Angelina Jolie's my favorite Tomb Raider. Always has been, always will be. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

@ausfem sunglasses I'm beginning to think that it's because Hollywood is lazy. I love a good action/superhero movie as much as the next woman (I didn't wait 5 hours to get into see Black Panther just for the hell of it). But I guess Hollywood feels that the public is too stupid to notice that they're making the same movies over and over again.

You're beginning to think that? Despite ripping off comic book storylines written in the 60s being churned out year after year for the last 15 years? It's more like Hollywood is creatively bankrupt and have to resort to stealing video game storylines now.

Have you guys played the newest Tomb Raider? This chick looks very much like her. Granted, Jolie looked a lot more like the original TR but on the new one, this chick looks closer to it.

I posted a couple of comparison pictures up thread: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/338970-tomb-raider/discuss/59c2584f92514176dc00dac1?page=2#5a7d76620e0a263e79004ab3

Yep, thanks for the pics. I love the new games BTW. Bought them both at new release and have played them both through a couple of times.

She looks anorexic in the trailer.

No, she does not. She looks like a normal, healthy person. People weren't intended to be fat slobs.

Yeah, because she was the original.

Just like Adam West will always be the best Batman. :)

@Alfred grinning A big Amen to that. Besides, Angelina's Tomb Raider was the first time I got to see Daniel Craig practically naked.
