You could totally tell who was going to be the "main characters" by their unusual appearance. Perhaps the state trooper didn't fit this mold, but everyone else to a T. Casting call must have been like, "Nope. You don't look weird enough. Sorry!"

And lens flare much? I know it's a surreal light experience, but it was so overt as to be distracting. Still an interesting concept piece, but I felt like these two aspects made it feel over-done.
