I would say that Bruce Almighty and even Yes Man had traces of the old Carrey comedy which were after Me Myself and Irene. and of course Dumb and Dumber 2 (but that movie sucks so i try not to think about it)

Those two I agree with, but like you said, there were only traces. As for Dumb and Dumber to, sheesh!
