Effeminate gangsters

It seemed almost every gang in this movie had one or two effeminate looking gangsters.. at least!
I get that they are young men, but still.. Some of them were very dainty in their manner and all the pouting didn't help either...
Even compared to movies of that era, the cast didn't look tough at all...

Good point...
On another note, I didn't realise that Sam Shepard had died! He was a solid actor.
