Discuss The Thing

So tempted by the CIC style Blu-ray case that is in HMV, but the fact that it's cardboard and not plastic is a bit of a downer... Any thoughts?

There's too much plastic in physical media anyway. I can only imagine the hyper-gross detail that the Blu-ray of this film must provide.

I still have my old VHS copy of The Thing but nothing to play it on cry

The stripey CIC one? I've still got that one and my VHS player still works fine somehow!

I have the Arrow and Universal versions on br, both are very good quality pictures... Well worth buying at least one if you like the film... The cardboard case just seems a bit frail...

Yes, it has blue diagonal stripes on the border.

Well, I've taken the plunge and ordered a copy...!
