Discuss Thor

The best thing about this film is the casting!

Hemsworth and Hiddleston are perfect and you can see why they're still playing these roles 10 years later.

Anthony Hopkins and Stellan Skarsgard are incapable of giving bad performances

Natalie Portman does her best with a pretty boring character.

Idris Elba has a small role but is so good he's returned in later films with more to do. Not enough to do but it's something!

Kat Dennings was great in this (and in the sequel but even better in WandaVision).

The first time you really start to appreciate Clark Gregg as Coulson. I hope nothing bad happens to him in the next film 😲

The film itself is OK, the direction OK, the writing OK.

Shakespeare on Asgard, comedy on Earth.

7/10 (6/10 for movie plus 1 for the casting)

This is without doubt the best Thor movie, it didn't take itself too seriously, was well acted, and left you wanting more.

The bleached eyebrows really bothered me during this...
