The villagers of Tenali are flocking to Lakshmiamma's house to attend the wedding of her son, Rama. Meanwhile at Lakshiamma's house, preparations are in full swing for the wedding when Gunjappa, Rama's friend, notices that Rama is missing. Sharda, Rama's bride and his lover, falls unconscious upon knowing the harsh truth. Soon, the villagers begin their search for the eloped bridegroom.

Sharda is annoyed at seeing Rama continue his merry ways and living a carefree life when everyone around him is in trouble. Sharda informs Rama that Gundappa's family will go homeless if they don't repay money to a notorious loan shark. Rama assures Sharda that he will devise a way to save Gundappa and his family.

Goddess Kali appears before Tenali Rama and asks him for his wish. Tenali Rama impresses Kali with his wit and walks away with his wishes fulfilled. Then, Tenali Rama arrives in the village and ties the knot with his lady love.

Tathacharya invites Marquis De Pompadour to his house with a plan to suborn him against Rama. But, Tathacharya stays unknown to the fact that Marquis De Pompadour accepts his invitation to hypnotize him and steal Krishnadevraya's crown. Will Rama find Marquis De Pompadour real reason to visit Vijayanagara?

Rama and Mantrivar notice Tathacharya and Mani in the market. Rama asks Tathacharya out of curiosity about being worried about something. Meanwhile, Mantrivar removes his Pagdi and while leaves wrongly wears Krishnadevraya's pagdi. How will Rama solve the Pagdi issue?

Krishnadevraya gets furious to see his ancestral pagdi missing. He orders Rama to find his pagdi before sunset and warns that if he fails, everyone in the room will be hanged to death. Krishnadevraya also tells Rama that he will be the first person to be hanged. How will Rama solve the Pagdi missing problem?

Marquis De Pompadour decides to hypnotize anyone from Rama's house to get the Pagdi. Rama comes out of his house and Marquis De Pompadour hypnotizes him and tells him to bring the Pagdi in the mid-night for him. Rama lies to Chinna Devi about a beautiful woman meeting Krishnadevraya in the park. Krishnadevraya gets angry after listening to Chinna Devi's accusation. Krishnadevraya punishes Chinna Devi and asks her to stay at her mother's house for six weeks. How will Rama solve the misunderstanding?
