We're attempting to build the fastest Mini on the planet. The plan is to try and shoehorn all the engine and running gear from a Toyota Celica GT4 into a rotten Mini. Can we do this monster engine swap? Can we build an Austin Mini GT4? Join us on this roller coaster ride of a build.

In part one of our side project, we take a 34 year old ex-library bus and begin its transformation into what we hope will be a hotel on wheels with the added bonus of being able to transport any of our vehicles at the same time. The venerable truck needs to go on a diet, so out come the power tools...

Faced with the reality of having to make a complete set of extended wheel arches for our turbo charged, 4WD monster mini, a chance meeting with a mad Spaniard gave us pause for thought. What if we could get someone else to do it? That was the main motivation behind this experiment in creating a bespoke body kit from 3D printed plastic.

It’s not often you get to see the nitty gritty of a retrimming project, so we thought it might be cool to let you all in behind the scenes at Trimworks while Dean brought Nik’s vision for Binky’s seats to life. There’s hog rings and listings, stitching and scrim foam and all kinds of terms I’d never come across before. Dean is an artist, so it was fantastic to watch him work his magic.
