He goes to the Lucky Inn to think upon their happy times.

DOWAGER blesses LARINE before her wedding. LARINE is moved. EMPEROR still minds LARINE’s appearance. LARINE is sad. DAN backs to celebrate EMPEROR’s wedding and reports to EMPEROR that the Lau’s troop had retreated. Unexpectedly, the Lau’s troop again invades Sung. EMPEROR blames DAN who does not exterminate the Lau’s troop. DAN blames EMPEROR and proposes him to lead the troop. EMPEROR is in a dilemma.
