After an altercation with Mercedes, John Paul realises he can’t be with his family at the trial, and Scott tries to cheer him up by telling him he loves him. At the trial Cleo is put under pressure when she is asked questions about Rachel's death.

Pete’s trial continues with witness statements from Harry, Jade, Celine and finally Reenie takes to the stand. Later that day, Alfie goes to see Jade and tells her that he can’t be more than her friend because he doesn’t want her to be heartbroken when he dies like Nathan is about Rachel.
