I always liked Tyler Hoechlin's friendly boyscout portrayal of Superman much better than Clavill's serious/brooding one and Elizabeth Tulloch makes a far better Lois than Amy Adams.
I watched the episode last night. I didn't really like the emo son, and I'm kind of disappointed they changed the Kent Farm so it's no longer the farm from the Smallville series, but overall I didn't think it was bad.

After watching the show, I really can't say that Tyler Hoechlin's is bad in the role. It is truer to the character than Snyder Crap. But i found the show to be boring as hell. It felt like 30 Something/Parenthood with Superman and i feel like they only gave him teen sons. So they could provide some of that signature CW teen angst. Originally Jon Kent was only 7 to 9 years old when he was introduced in the comics. But having a happy go lucky kid in your boring melodrama is a no go for CW. But i never thought Smallville was all that great either. Personally i think i will just stick to the 90s Lois and Clark Show, For one Teri Hatcher was a lot hotter and the show was a lot more fun.

I have no idea why it's out of focus.
