Rudeus, Eris, and Ruijerd make it to a city. They need to earn money for their journey, and decide to register as adventurers, but Superd like Ruijerd aren’t allowed inside. Rudeus has a plan, but how well will it hold up in practice?

With their new money-making scheme in place, Dead End head out to track down a mysterious monster. Unfortunately, the job doesn’t go as smoothly as they hope, and Rudy’s plans may turn out to be a lot less safe than he thought.

Rudeus sinks into depression following Eris's departure. As he struggles to get back on his feet, the many people he's met continue their own journeys.
