Teams have seven hours to make an amazing space-themed creation, but they will be judged on how spectacularly it breaks when destroyed by various means: baseball bat, high-speed crash, 6m drop or explosives.

In a test of their engineering skills, teams must construct a bridge across a 2m canyon with no centre support; the winning structure will be the one to withstand the most weight. With 10 hours on the clock, the race is on.

Imaginations are let loose in this challenge where teams must create an evil lair for a supervillain Minifigure in 13 hours, including a vehicle. The least impressive villain world will ultimately send its makers home.

Teams must duplicate the classic DeLorean car from Back to the Future - the real thing present for reference. Next, they re-create an iconic moment in cinema in a vignette on their tables, with the least impressive team saying farewell.

The four remaining teams each contribute to a Time Train diorama built in 16 hours. From the Wild West, the Future, Prehistoric and Medieval Times, this challenge will mark the end of one team's journey and reveal our grand finalists.

In the first elimination, teams must create a classic fairy tale scene. They will have 12 hours to complete a fairy story that is recognisable and impressive. For one duo, the chance to be this season's Lego Masters slips away.

A double-header challenge sees the remaining teams build a tower as tall as they can in two hours. Then, in one of the hardest builds so far, they must create magic from one hanging brick - a careful measure of weight and balance.

In a test of their engineering skills, the six teams have to build a structure that can withstand increasing shake factors. The team that survives the highest shake factor will win immunity.

The third elimination hangs over the teams' heads as they are challenged with building a 3D art piece out of Lego. With one team safe with immunity, four teams go head-to-head to create incredible and beautiful 3D Lego art.

In the penultimate episode, teams face two challenges. The first one sees them only able to use pieces from a smashed LEGO Harley-Davidson. In the second challenge, they must create a building that works in both day and night.

The contest designed to push the imagination and creativity of Australia's best LEGO builders returns for a third season, and this season promises to take the competition to a whole new level. Up for grabs is the all new Platinum Brick which will give the winning team immunity from an elimination. To win it, they face a massive first challenge. Teams must create a show stopping piece that will stop a train in its tracks. They have 17 hours to complete their builds.
