Tray and Cousin Bobby intercept the kids at school and take them on a trip down memory lane. Shay tries to track down the kids, and Josh reminds Shay that it's her lie that disrupted the family dynamic.
Unbeknownst to Shay, Tray was invited to her mother's funeral reception, much to her disapproval. Tray stands up for Shay when her family gives her a hard time about not being there in her mother's later years.

A neighborhood tough named BAMF threatens Josh and levies a \"tax\" on the food truck. Tray reconnects with another O.G. in an attempt to learn the new code of the street. Bobby has a new girlfriend, but she comes with more baggage than he imagined.
Tray takes Shahzad to his first basketball game and teaches him how to finesse his way to courtside seats. Josh feels insecure about his relationship with Shahzad and worries that he's not the cool Dad anymore.
