电视动画《VENUS PROJECT -CLIMAX-》是跨媒体企划《VENUS PROJECT》的其中一环，于2015年7月开始与综艺节目《VENUS PROJECT TV》穿插播出，其中动画全6话。

The story is about the drama that happens among the girls in VENUS PROJECT as they aim for the top by concentrating on difficult battles, passion, and friendship.

今より少し未来の日本。情報端末や映像技術が高度に発達している世界。 人々は新たなエンターテイメントに熱狂していた。 ”FORMULA VENUS（フォーミュラ・ヴィーナス）” 通称”F-V”と呼ばれるこのエンターテイメントは、選ばれしトップアイドルが己の力と技と、 培ってきたすべての経験を生かしパフォーマンスを競い合うライブバトルである。 この物語は『VENUS PROJECT」への切符を手にした少女たちが アイドルの最高峰を目指し、激しい戦いに身を投じ、熱き血潮をたぎらせ、 努力し、友との友情の中、勝利を目指す姿をドラマ化したものである。

Niedaleka przyszłość przyniosła ludzkości nadspodziewanie szybki rozwój technologiczny. Jednakże odwieczna potrzeba rozrywki pozostała w społeczeństwie, które wciąż szuka nowych sposobów jej zaspokojenia. Jednym z nich okazuje się Formula Venus – zawody, w których idolki stają naprzeciw siebie podczas muzycznych występów na żywo. Fabuła tytułu skupia się na ukazaniu tych występów, emocji towarzyszących bohaterkom oraz przyjaźni i współzawodnictwa, które pojawiają się między idolkami.
