Discuss The Terror

We'll never know beyond the historic account what actually happened to the men of this expedition. I did like the fanciful ending, though, with the Captain telling the Inuit leader to tell the '"rescue party" he had been there but died shortly after when in fact he lived on as a member of their tribe.

The very end was a tad confusing, making it seem that he and a family of his own separated from the tribe. Perhaps, though, that is the way of those people as earlier we saw an encounter with an Inuit family apart from the tribe.

At any rate, fine fine job by everyone involved from the sets to the outfits to the writing to the directing to the actors. I truly came to hate Mr. Hickey which is a sure sign of a good actor!
