백야단의 선동에 의해 카미나리몬 컴퍼니를 악덕 기업으로 생각하는 사람들이 늘어나자드디어 백야단은 작전의 마지막 단계인 '극야 작전'을 결행하려 한다.밤 0시에 카미나리몬 컴퍼니 본사에 집결해서 대규모 시위를 벌이자는 내용의백야단의 글이 적힌 종이가 발견되자 마을엔 비상 소집이 걸린다. 대규모 시위대를 막기 위해 경무부는 동원 가능한 인력을 최대한 투입하고심지어 하급 닌자들까지 곳곳에 배치시켜 만일의 불상사를 대비하려 한다. 하지만 적이 아니라 일반 시민으로 이뤄진 시위대한테 어떻게 대응해야 할지 난감하기만 한데...

폐광 속에서 하얀 제츠와 혈투를 벌이는 보루토 일행. 그런데 이번 하얀 제츠는 생김새부터 옛날의 제츠와는 딴판인 데다 더욱 강력해져 있다. 풍둔, 뇌둔, 화둔까지 구사하지 못하는 게 없는 제츠한테 상급닌자인 코노하마루조차 밀리는 형국이다. 보루토와 미츠키, 사라다까지 가세해서 제츠에게 대항해 보지만 끄떡도 않자 카타스케한테서 받은 과학 닌자 도구까지 동원해서 겨우 위기를 탈출하는데...

야간 경비를 서던 나뭇잎 마을의 닌자들이 괴한에게 습격을 당해 중태에 빠지는 사건이 발생한다. 상황 파악을 위해 나루토는 상급 닌자 전원을 소집하지만, 혼란을 막기 위해 그 외의 사람들에게는 비밀로 부치고 함구령을 내린다. 임무 수행을 위해 약속 장소에 온 보루토와 사라다는 임무가 돌연 취소됐다는 말에 허탈해한다. 그런데 약속 시간이 한참 지났는데도 미츠키가 나타나지 않는 걸 의아하게 생각한 보루토와 사라다는 미츠키 집에 찾아가 보지만 미츠키의 모습이 보이지 않는다. 사방을 찾아다니고 마을 사람들에게 물어봐도 아무도 미츠키를 봤다는 사람이 없는데...

기나긴 추격 끝에 마침내 미츠키를 만나나 했지만 고쿠요가 보루토와 아이들을 막아선다. 처음에는 어린애라고 무시했다가 따끔한 맛을 본 고쿠요는 마침내 본실력을 발휘해서 보루토 일행과 맞선다. 엄청나게 강한 고쿠요에게 고전을 면치 못하는 보루토와 아이들. 급기야 사라다가 목숨을 위협받는 위기에 처한 순간나뭇잎 마을로 돌아가기로 했던 쵸쵸와 이노진이 나타나서 간발의 차이로 사라다를 구한다. 하지만 그게 끝이 아니었는데...

몸이 망가지면서까지 새들의 주인을 제거해 주려고 안간힘을 쓰는 주고. 그런 주고의 모습을 보고 아무것도 해 줄 수 없는 자신을 자책하는 보루토.진정제로 겨우 주인화되는 걸 억제하고 있지만,효과가 지속되는 시간이 갈수록 짧아지자 모두가 애가 탄다. 진정제가 다 떨어지기 전에 새들의 주인을 모두 제거해야 하는 상황이라마음만 타들어 가는 보루토와 아이들. 그런데 잠을 자다가 이상한 소리가 들려서 깨어 보니우리에 가둬 두었던 감염된 새들이 모두 사라지고 없는데...

Boruto and Sarada rush to Victor's research lab where they find a horrifying plant stealing the chakra of the people near it. As they work with Konohamaru to try to bring it under control, Deepa appears!

Delta uses her destructive beam that can neutralize any regenerative power. Undaunted, Naruto forcefully suppresses it with a Giant Rasengan. He then turns up the power of his jutsu and propels it towards Delta. Unfortunately, Delta has been fitted with Scientific Ninja Tools and is able to absorb any jutsu, no matter how powerful… What will be the outcome of this battle?!

One after another, the winners of the finals are being decided. Only a few matches remain, but Boruto and Mitsuki still have not appeared at the venue. Sarada worries that at this rate, the duo will be disqualified. Meanwhile, the next match is between Denki and Tsubaki.

As Sarada and the others hurry to evacuate the people of the island, Boruto grows anxious when he learns they are being threatened by the mobile fortress, which is equipped with a powerful weapon. Kagura, Hebiichigo and Kyoho show up to assist Boruto, Kawaki and Buntan. Together, they do what they can to destroy the weapon to protect their friends, but they are obstructed by Tenma and are forced to fight him.

In retaliation against Boruto and his friends for destroying Tenma’s mobile fortress, the pirates land on the Isle of Shipbuilders. Funamushi, a follower of the Funato Clan, attacks Kagura, hoping to capture him alive so that he can use him as a bargaining chip. Kagura fights back using the Hiramekarei—the twin swords that the Sixth Mizukage Chojuro entrusted to him—but Funamushi is a formidable foe. Meanwhile, Seiren appears before Boruto and torments him with her persistent attacks. Can Boruto find his way out of this predicament?!

Kawaki and Himawari’s class goes on a field trip to an uninhabited island in order to create new memories with Kae. Because of its distance from the village, there are all sorts of rumors about the island, and bizarre incidents occur, like the disappearance of the food they brought. The field trip suddenly starts to feel unsettling, but under Hana Sensei’s direction, the students try to work together to overcome these difficulties. Meanwhile, Kawaki suspects the assassin targeting Kae might be lurking nearby, so he steps up his watch.
