I thought the episode was excellent, and I am happy to see good reviews from several critics. I knew the show had some good singers but the cast as a whole was awesome especially Veronica and Betty. The episode also fit well with the overall story line, and the final shocker provided excellent momentum for the rest of the season. I researched the actual musical Carrie and was surprised to find it is considered a bomb. Several songs seemed great, and the Riverdale version was certainly appealing.
