Discuss Kim's Convenience

It's not my favourite show but it does have its moments. Not sure if it's just me but the accents sound very fake.

I laughed so loud when the not so smart son said he was going to get his GED and pronounced it like a name rather than an acronym. Too funny!!

That was a funny moment, especially when the roommate Kimchee, who we were lead to believe was the not-so-smart one, had to correct Jung. I enjoy the show mainly because it doesn't resort to vulgarity or trying to be "edgy" so typical in most of today's sitcoms.

I agree. It doesn't try too hard. I think the son has Kimchee beat in the not-so-smart department rofl Even Will and Grace are going a little too far with the political comedy. I just started watching this show and it is definitely light and refreshing.

I'm a bit split on the issue of who's the not-so-smart one - at times it does seem that Jung relies a lot on his good looks and charm but then you consider Jung also has the management/office position at his job whereas Kimchee works in the back. Still, a very funny show - this week's episode involving the grave site plot was very funny.
