I'm definitely going with Rainer. For one, I just think the actors have better chemistry. But secondly, I really don't think Jake deserves Paige. I feel like he was incredibly unfair to her throughout the first season. He doesn't really support her once her acting career starts to take off. He makes everything about him and how she doesn't spend every second with him. Meanwhile, he gets jealous of her career, yet because of her career he's able to meet someone that helps him sell his screenplay. He starts sleeping Alexis, yet he still acts jealous and territorial over Paige because she's friends with Rainer. Then Jake tries to ice Paige out of his life when he gets a job in Texas. And then in the season finale he expects everything to be okay between them even though he never really apologizes or admits to being wrong.

So overall I thought Jake ended up being kind of mentally abusive jerk. I really hope Paige says no to him after he interrupted her press conference with Rainer.

You made some really good points about Jake's choices. I wonder if Rainer is ready to commit to one woman? Many of us assume that is what Paige would be looking for especially if she doesn't even want to date a co-star on a film. (Smart choice by the way.) The heart wants what the heart wants so we will just have to wait for Season 2 to see what Paige's heart wants.

I agree that Jake has been really unfair to Paige. I think Paige and Jake would be far more interesting anyway. Although I have a feeling that she'll end up choosing Jake out of loyalty.

I think she should choose Jake and I think she'll want to choose Jake, but she'll end up with Rainer. In the first scene in the pilot the tabloids were very invested in her love life, which I think means that she'll end up with Rainer one way or the other ( Rainer's mom will probably make up stories to keep them in the tabloids which will drive a wedge between Jake and Paige).

Rainer for sure. Jake is annoying and kind of a douche bag in disguise as a "nice guy"

I have a much more favorable opinion of Jake. I think a lot can be forgiven because like Paige he is trying to figure out the shark-invested waters of Hollywood. Jake and Paige also have the advantage of liking each other before they became famous. Would Rainer be as interested in Paige if she wasn't a rising star? Yes, there was a spark at the audition, but would he really be comfortable with a non-celebrity?
