@ScorpionQ2 : "Vikings" is on the History Channel. Gus Skaarsgard got robbed, Alexander got all the looks in that family. The father, Stellan, has been around for years, most recently in the Marvel "Thor " movies. He was incredible in" The Girl with the Rose Tattoo". I love " Vikings" and Gus's character, Floki, is awesome.

But, did you see Gus' body in that one episode where he was hanging up?! Lordy mercy! He was ripped! He may not look like Alex, but I sure wouldn't turn him down. I loved Bill in "Hemlock Grove." He reminded me so much of Alex. And I can't wait to see him in "It."

That did not escape my notice! He is built, but his brother has him beat. Alex was an incredible Tarzan. I would have never finished True Blood if he were not in it. Joe Mangi(sp)whatever kept me watching too.

@ScorpionQ2 : I assumed the residents knew it was Bonnie because at one point, an interviewee asked the interrogator why are you questioning us, we all know who did it. "Who did it" meaning they know the tripped and fell story is bullshit. Also, I'm sure the whole town knew the truth about Max by the time the police began their investigation; it seems the official interviews happened some time after the Trivia party. And gossip being the wildfire it is, I bet they probably heard it wasn't Ziggy almost immediately. Jane was right when she said she couldn't live in this town, I wouldn't last an hour in that snakepit. I'll have to watch the last episode again, though, in case I got it wrong. But I think a major thrust of the show was the whole "Ode to Billy Joe" mentality of the townspeople.

No Sheezcrazy, the towns people do not know the real truth-neither do the police- it is the women's secret they share-that is the whole point. Watch the episode again.

I watched it again, and I totally agree the girls made a pact. But, a guy did say, "we all know who did it", which tells me they're not buying the ladies' story. And a woman said in light of what the townspeople know now, it's amazing there was only one casualty at trivia night. I don't think everyone knows everything, so I agree a pact was formed to keep the locals from learning not just about Bonnie, but Izzy's parentage.

Maybe if they do a season 2 this can still happen.

This also would be a great lead in for a season 2.

Great observations Scorpion!

Yes the BINOCULAR watcher would be a wonderful way to lead into the start of a Season 2.

I figured Bonnie must have experienced something because she was so alerted and followed them, Glad she did because Perry would have killed every last one of them. I was so angry the way he was beating ALL of them up. You were right Invidia thumbsup_tone2 Perry was Jane's rapist. I loved the realizations on all of their faces. Glad all of the women ended as friends with all of the children together.
I thought great show, great ending two_hearts I was glad Tom and Jane got together.

Yes Tom and Jane ending up together was also a nice way to end it. And with Perry's death perhaps that also gives her the kind of closure she needs to move on and stop being so obsessed with the rape?

To answer my question I asked previously- the caution tape was already on the stairs before the murder. Soo glad it was Perry that was killed, If Renata hadn't come to the car window Perry would have killed Celeste right then and there.

Perry was a Psychopath. There's no doubt about that. It still boggles the mind that she stayed in denial of it for so long about it refusing to leave him though even after her shrink also kept warning her about how she was in danger if she stayed with him.

Poor Celeste finding out all in one day that your child is an abuser and your abusive husband is also a rapist. Seems like the only good guy may possibly have been Tom and we really didn't get a chance to find out much about him.

Looked like maybe Celeste was too busy getting Beaten Up again to notice how Jane realized who Perry was?

Maddy saw the look on her face and realized it. But did Celeste? Of course she'd also have known after his death when they all agreed to lie about what had happened as a way to protect Bonnie. As an attorney, Celeste would no doubt also have told them what to say and not say to the cops?

Good thing she had a shrink who was willing to break the Ethical Code or else Celeste may also have still been in denial when Perry's killed and not have taken Bonnie's side? If she'd still also not accepted what a monster she married, she may have also treated Bonnie the same way as Renata did Jane and Ziggy?

...and I still believe Ed had been creepy with Abigail. Loved Ituana's version of You Can't Always Get What You Want it fitted the finale and episode title perfectly.

It might have been difficult to sell her virginity on the internet if she wasn't still a virgin. Because whoever bid the highest bid for it may also have insisted upon a doctor's exam as a way to guarantee they were getting what they'd paid for?

But if his wife was screwing the other guy for 3 months, it also makes sense that ED was feeling sexually neglected by his wife.

The ending version of the STONES song also leaves out the line:

I saw her today at the reception

a glass of wine in her hand

I knew she was gonna meet her connection

Which is why I still like the other original version of it that was used in the start of another film called THE BIG CHILL ... where a former group of hippies turned professional meet back up again at the Funeral for a former friend (who had also turned down his scholarship in Physics and not become a professional like most of the rest of them had).

And the MEETING her CONNECTION line also made sense, due to the way one of them was a drug dealer who was turning on another one of them to some of his drug supply.

In fact when she gets into his car to drive to the cemetery she also sits on lots of pills in the passenger seat before he grabs them and stashes them elsewhere. Then he also turns her on to some pot and gets her so stoned she walks the wrong way when she gets out of the car.

And back at the house where they have the RECEPTION for the guest at the Funeral, she's also got the munchies and is eating everything in sight.

So for those reasons, the opening song in THE BILL CHILL (which is also played on the organ at the FUNERAL Service making the others SMILE when they hear it), still remains my favorite version of the song.

BIG CHILL CLIP HERE:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiw_3olyJ2c

The HUMOR with the way the so called JOURNALIST laughs at the other guy being an actor after the so called actor also laughs about his friend being a JOURNALIST is what makes this scene and the song so much better.

And then the way the husband says he wonders about the way his wife describes him to her friends is also funny as the YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT part of the song is playing.

Because apparently this housewife (who also later has an affair with the actor) also didn't get what it was that she wanted (even after she also has sex with the actor that she's been lusting for all those years)?

grin

Invidia: This is WAY OT, but can I ask you a question about your comments above?? I have wondered for a very long time why so many people now end sentences with a question mark when the sentence isn't a question? I see this all over the internet, FB, message boards, etc. Does it make those sentences mean something that this old non-internet savvy lady just doesn't know? Lol. Thanks in advance for any insights anyone can give me?
