Everyone knows anything about voudon knows that marriage to a loa means only sacrificing one day a week to that loa, every other day they're free to explore other relationship and even marry other loa. So, I don't get why Evita's marriage to Baron Samedi meant she can't be with Tyrone anymore, it's not the Catholic Church and she's not a nun.

You are looking in the wrong direction. Instead of looking at the writers--look at the characters.
Does Evita strike you as the kind of person who would deceive Ty about her new “status” and go on with their relationship as if nothing had changed?
That being said, what about Ty? Even if Evita is still "free to explore”; considering what she/we know about his moral compass, does he strike you as the kind of person who would be comfortable with, or even pursue such a relationship?
Doesn’t matter how much of something else you can have—if you can’t have what you want. Evita had to choose between a-rock-and-a-hard-place; losing Ty regardless of her choice.
How could she not be miserable?

Well she's not telling anything at all about her status, so yeah.
I'm sure Ty would understand the situation if it is explained to him. It's only one day a week (If they follow actual voudon traditions).
