Discuss Girlboss

I tried this Netflix show last night, and thought it was pretty good, and well written. Just wondering if Britt Robertson's central character levels out a bit (?), because she's bordering on unbearably obnoxious in the first episode.

Not really, that was my problem with the show... I thought she over acted. I will say I still really liked the show because the rest of it was so good and loved the premiss. Watched the whole thing in one sitting! LOL

I watched one episode and really didn't like the majority of the "comedy".

Stealing a rug? Hello. What the fook.

The couple making out on the sofa pretending to plAy XBOX because they were embarrassed? Is this show aimed at pre-teens?

I think I might read the book instead of continuing with this show.

Yeah, right? Who the hell robs a rug? Watched ep 2 and she's gone full klepto now, stealing a book called 'Starting a business on eBay for Dummies'!! Are we supposed to be rooting for this girl? She also gets a hernia, cue major hypochondria behaviour. It's weird because the show itself is potentially really good. And I also picked up on what HoneyWest said about her (waaay) overacting (read try-harding). I'll stick with it for another few episodes. The idea/premise is quite interesting.

The real Sophia did steal a lot until she was arrested.
