Discuss Star Trek: The Next Generation

It's obvious that from the start that this episode's music is very different from what we expect to hear on TNG. In fact, composer Ron Jones was fired for music that was "too noticeable." I find some bad or mediocre music on movies and tv irritating, but I thought the music on this episode was outstanding and made it much better than typical TNG music would have. At about 43:30 the music sounds like Debussy's Sacred and Profane Dances https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f51LBBLzS8M at 4:45. I think Jones's music really fits the mood of this episode and in fact would be worth hearing with no video at all.
