Is the actress who plays Lena Luther British?

I only ask because at one point she randomly had a British accent.

She's an Aussie. Last season she tried to act with an American accent and didn't do a good job. It seems this season they're just having her work with her normal accent. I guess we're supposed to forget she was American last season.
Yvonne Strahovski from Chuck is from Australia as well but does an excellent American accent. You'd never know she wasn't American. I had no idea until I saw her interviewed. It was pretty weird!
Being an American, I for one cannot tell the difference between a British, Australian, or South African accent, but apparently there is quite a difference between the three.

She's still trying to do an American accent but she is really bad at it. You would think they could have found an American actress rather than cast an Australian who cannot do an American accent.

She really is still trying? Wow...she got worse! I agree...it would be a lot easier to just get an American actress. There are quite a few out there, the last time I checked.

Actually no. She graduated from Trinity College, Dublin with a degree in history, focusing on Russian history.
