I just binge watched this and was pleasantly surprised...
Probably a good thing that it was only one season as it would be difficult to come up with fresh stories.

I also liked the show but was disappointed that it was cancelled (IIRC).

Unfortunately, CBS and other broadcasting companies seldom give new shows a chance to go further than one season if they are not satisfied with the viewer ratings.
