I don't understand why they killed off Stein. I wish they would have let him retire with his family. Disappointed to see his character go, considering I don't care for half the team.

I agree. I guess the writers had him die for shock value. It was a needless death. Maybe the team will see him from the alternate Earths.

I hope so. He seems pretty busy, as an actor. He guest stars on The Orville along with his stage work.

What annoyed me a bit was that he was killed off in a crossover episode. I just happen to follow every show in that crossover, but not all people do, and they thus avoid these episodes. So big things like this should be kept to stand alone episodes or continued episodes within the same show.

I agree but I felt they did the character justice in the Beebo episode. I thought it was a touching farewell. I had hoped that he would have changed his future, though.

I disagree. If people choose to skip the crossovers that's on them if they miss important plot elements.

And the problem with that is that not all of these shows are available outside the US. In Norway you can watch Supergirl (if you have HBO), Arrow (if you have a channel called TV2 or its streaming service), and Legends (if you have Netflix). But Flash is not available. You will have to illegally download it or illegally watch it through a US website.

While that is unfortunate, I don't think it's fair to put what other countries decide to do with these shows on the showrunners.

Well, them not selling it to those who DID broadcast the last three seasons is something you CAN put on them.

With Zari and now soon Wally onboard it would have been way too crowded. Who knows, Rip might join too now that he's back in the game.

I'm not complaining that he did die (although I would have liked for him to stay), but they ought to have done it in a non-crossover episode.

I know, I was replying to OP. As to why they decided to kill him off rather than letting him retire, well, I think they wanted him to go out as a "real hero".
