...working at a Bed Bath and Beyond in Star City? She's good friends with the Mayor and the daughter of the Deputy Mayor. They give an excuse that no one wants to hire her because she's been listed as dead twice, but really? People would hire her just for her connections alone. It makes no sense! Sure they could say that she didn't want to use her family and friends influence, but still that doesn't mean that others wouldn't want to.

It's a time travel show so something not making sense is par for the course. But this wasn't even a time travel issue, it was just implausible.

I was thinking the same thing. It's like why didn't Barry zip H.R. to the hospital to try and save him, instead of just staring at him while he died. Some people say the movement would have killed him, but you're not going to try when you know he'll die anyway?
Chalk it up as another brain fart in writing for the purpose of the script.
