Discuss Fear the Walking Dead

Is the goal of the show to merge with TWD? Or will this be a futile quest on Morgan's part; constantly getting side tracked by one crisis or another?? Besides, from what I had read, it seems that if he does get to Virginia, the Hilltop will be gone and everyone there back to being a traveling band.

That's a good question, it seems like they moving the Fear team back to Virginia as an effort to have a decent finale for TWD by combining the two for an epic season. Considering that TWD is having a time jump, it will be curious to see where this show goes and how they will merge the two in the future, which I think is the goal, along with making this the main series.

I think the TWD time jump syncs with Morgan making it to Texas. 148 months is realistic for a man on foot to get that far and that is the TWD jump, 18 months. So they are operating in the same time line. Just the way the trailer looks, things are working out at first but then dissolve into chaos over who knows what. I looked on IMDB at the listed episodes and by the third there was a character simply called "Hilltop Survivor", that indicates Hilltop will be destroyed in some fashion. Thus is\when Morgan and crew get to Virginia, the settlement will be gone, maybe all of them.

As far as a finale? AMC annonced they intend to "milk" this concept for at least another ten years. That may not mean TWD will be on air that long, but made for AMC movies, etc could. One idea I read was setting a show in another country.

Well, they set season 2 and 3 of Fear in Mexico and fans hated it.

Can't foresee any Endgame where Connor Macleod doesn't enter the story

"There can be only one!"

I am picturing a scene where Connor, Duncan, and Methos are sitting around going "Well we didn't see this coming!"

That would be fuckin awesome. Except that Connor is dead but who cares? Duncan is the man!
