Actually this current "second season" needs to be moved into the specials. The "proper" second season is coming up in January https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-07-16/seven-deadly-sins-anime-reveals-new-season-january-2018-premiere-title-cast-staff-visual-trailer/.118900

Signs of Holy Wars, the sequel to season 1, was a 4 week special series and is widely considered season 2 (Episodes 25-28 of the series). Season 3, Revival of the commandments (episodes 29-52) is the sequel to Signs of Holy Wars.

Holy Wars is not a side story but part of the actual series so it should be season 2 and Revival Season 3, Wrath of the Gods (episodes 53-76) Season 4 and Dragon’s Judgement Season 5 (episodes 77-100)

If you want "Signs of Holy Wars" to appear as season 2, you need to use this episode group.

Episode Group doesn't reflect actual content when syncing with the actual Series listing. "Signs of Holy War" Still appear under Specials - Need to move it as a 2nd season. https://myanimelist.net/anime/31722/Nanatsu_no_Taizai__Seisen_no_Shirushi - Please notice on Animelist - it's the second season followed by "Revival of the Commandments"

Thank you

The procedure to correctly use episode groups with Kodi is here.

For other softwares, you will have to ask their respective support team.

I'm Using Plex, They don't have such option. And again, this is a reliable source for all anime shows and movies out there. Can we please give it its own Saga? TheTVDB does the same thing.

I'll continue conversation here, Thank you for closing my other discussion.

As a Plex user, you need to ask them to support the episode groups if they want to be completely compatible with our site. They are available through the API since multiple years.

And again, this is a reliable source for all anime shows and movies out there.

MyAnimeList just say that, storywise, these episodes should be viewed between the original series and "Revival of The Commandments".

Can we please give it its own Saga?

As indicated above in 2017, Signs of Holy War was "A four-episode television anime special".

TheTVDB does the same thing.

Each site has its own set of rules.

This is exacatly what I'm saying. Storywise and the time it was published according to MyAnimeList shows it as a season.

The link you posted here is invalid so I can't tell what it is pointing to, can you bring some other information to backup what you're saying? I've Googled to find some informationt o backup what you said. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3909224/episodes/?season=2 IMDB also calls it a season.

It makes a whole lot of sense when watching the show you won't need to jump to specials to know that there's a specific part to watch and then jump back to Series 3. Let me know your thoughts about it. Thanks

The link is perfectly working. It is also available in the @sp1ti answer above.

IMDB is not an official source.

Our main listings should be based on the original release. Episode groups are available to list in viewing order in the case they were released differently.

Thank you for answering. I confused that link with another one you posted elsewhere - you can disregard that.

IMDB is not an official source. Fair point - There's no exception here that you have so many large websites publishing this information to make it a valid case?

Beyond that, Thank you for taking the time to explain your points and back it up with links. I understand your point with it being considered TV Special. Won't you agree that a 4 episodes that are all under the same title, "Signs of Holy War" can have its own season?

They have it in the episode group.

The main episode list should reflect the original broadcast.

That's the original broadcast list though, isn't it? According to all sources, the original listing: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=16167 "Signs of Holy War" was published at 2016, while "Revival of the ten commandments" were published on 2018.

No.

According to all sources, the original listing: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=16167 "Signs of Holy War" was published at 2016, while "Revival of the ten commandments" were published on 2018.

The dates are correct, but "Signs of Holy War" was published as an anime special. Consequently; it should be listed in our specials season.

Thank you for that.
