Extra Details: pourquoi couper l'épisode 23-24 en 2 alors qu'il n'y a aucune coupure et que cela a été diffusé en continu ? (à part une coupure de poublicité n'importe ou) d'ailleurs je n'ai trouvé nul part de temps de coupure ! pire: imdb donne une durée de 1h pour chaque demi épisode, or l'ensemble dure 01:21:31. EN FAIT il n'y a qu'un seul épisode double !Cela pose probleme pour les mediatheques vidéo, ou alors dites nous ou se trouve exactement la coupure qui n'existe pas et qui est purement fictive et commerciale ! Certaines bases de données mentionnent un seul épisode. Comment peut on faire pour n'avoir qu'une seule entrée ?

We only support the original episodes and it looks like they originally aired as two episodes

If you have one video file you have to name it something like “the mentaliteit S03E23-E24” or something. Just look for the FAQ/wiki on kodi or plex or whatever you use.

Yes, it will only SHOW the episodes split, playing episode 23 or 24 from your media player will just start the file, it won't start halfway..... then you need to manually split it.
Anyway, we don't cater to personal needs. Sorry, not sorry.
I can check my external drive for the duration of my files, but that might take a while. Going to the cinema now. Also, if by chance you live in France or Japan, Mentalist is on Netflix, you could check the duration of their episodes.
Also try to do some math. IMDb always lists duration with the commercial breaks. One hour means approx. 15 to 20 minutes of commercials, so you'd have like 43 minutes per episode. Which comes down to 86 minutes total (1 hours and 26 minutes). Seems more like your duration eh.). So if you look at around 40 minutes and notice a split in story arcs. Bet there's the natural split.

This is not a personal need, it is that there is no break, or possible break in this "double episode" that has always been programmed in one part! So in TMDB there should be only one part (called 23-24 if you want), otherwise, it is that TMDB follows the commercial practices of the chains ...

@thrymartin The episode was originally produced as two episodes and is often broadcast as two episodes (e.g. UK, NZ, CH).
