Discuss Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Why didn't they have any of the "little jewels" like Kirk fired at the Gorn(s) on Cestus III? Would it just have made the battle too easy and non-dramatic?

Weren't those succers nuclear?Because they would do your own troops more harm and who is to say that the Jem Haddar aren't immune to radiation.

Based on the effect shown, I took it to be sort of a very small photon torpedo.

Still the blast could be too big that it isn't a very practical weapon for close combat situations

No and it's said as much in "Arena." But the Jem'Hadar base/camp wasn't that close. They should have bombed them rather than waiting for what, a thousand or more of them, to come through that pass.

Oh well that's another one we can put down on "plot convenience" I guess wink

Except it wasn't very convenient for Nog... or for Will Robinson... Among others.

Wasn't Will in another show called Lost In Space? because there wasn't a robot exclaiming "Warning Will Robinson" in that episode😆

Maybe the Robot (that's what they called it) was back on the station...

Will Robinson left the Jupitor 2 on Lost in Space and hitched a ride on Babylon 5 before he joined Starfleet. His sister Penny moved to Pasadenna to become an actress. Will changed his name to Bill and developed a special cannon (not canon)that fires photon powered fish heads. He is considered a great warrior yet feared by the Antedians to this day

Nice mix-up, but you missed a step. First Penny went to Nebraska and was adopted by a "farm" family. grinning

And somewhere along the line, dyed her hair blonde.

Why didn't they used that photon powered fish head cannon against the Jem'Haddar during the seige I wonder.

I also missed a Fleetwood Mac mention because Mick Fleetwood played one of the Antedians.

I bet those fishhead cannons will work on them that is unless Spot not gets hold of them first grinning

Nex since you are Dutch and may have not gotten all my references: Bill Mumy is the actor who was in The Siege of AR 558. He was also in Lost in Space as Will Robinson, and Babylon 5 too. On Lost in Space his character had a sister Penny which is also the name of the girl in The Big Bang Theory which you didn't like but me and Knix are fans of. You know the Antedians were fish looking aliens on a STTNG episode. Bill Mumy also had a strange comedy band called Barnes and Barnes. Their best known song is called Fish Heads from 1980. If you already know all of that then you are truly a man of great wisdom

Too bad medical technology wasn't that advanced, like in the "The Orville (2017-)".

Nog's leg could have then been regenerated.
