Special episode narrated by Emi Nitta, which aired a week before the anime started and was also included in the first volume of the DVD/Blu-ray. It introduces the characters, tells about origin of the Love Live! franchise and shows bits of music videos and live shows.

After recounting a dream to Hanayo, Maki meets a little girl that suddenly appears in the music room. The next day, Maki is absent from school, and the other girls decide to visit her. However, Eli returns to the school to pick up a textbook and ends up following a mysterious shadow. As the gap between dreams and reality closes, an amazing encounter awaits her and the other members of µ's.
