Liz leaves her daughter Agnes with Tom's mother Susan "Scottie" Hargrave, who has been exonerated from past wrongdoings ("The Blacklist: Redemption").

Scottie: "...And to give me his beautiful baby girl, who I’m gonna spoil rotten."

Liz: "She loves Cheerios, and Thomas the Train in the morning. And she gets so cranky if she’s hot at night, so just a light blanket."

Scottie: "Liz, she’s gonna be fine. She is. Okay, I’m gonna take good care of her. She’ll be healthy and happy. And when you are, and that will happen, you’ll take her back."

Was that wise of Liz? After all the trouble of saving Agnes, it is a bit strange to leave her in the care of someone like Scotty, though a loving grandmother, still quite ruthless and certainly not that squeeky clean. On the other hand, perhaps that is a good thing, as no one would dare go against Scottie.

Shouldn't Liz take care of Agnes herself when she recovers? Children grow up so fast and Agnes would want her mother to be there with her as much as possible.
