Any thoughts???

Could the TRUTH be Lucy and her hubby TOM were members of some kind of SWINGERS Club for COUPLES.

Something like that might explain the reason why she said she has the SOUL of a WHORE.

And it also might explain how the kids went missing. If anyone remembers, there was also another REAL LIFE CASE in San Diego where a little girl was kidnapped and abused by the man that her mother was suppose to have sex with but decided not to. So he took her daughter instead (who was also later found dead).

So perhaps the TRUTH we discover might also be something like that???

Because it's also strange how OK her hubby TOM seems to be about the way she CHEATS on him.

So if he also CHEATS on her as well, and they belong to some kind of a SWINGERS CLUB where they exchange sex partners, that could also help to explain the way ODD way that these parents behave.

Amelia (Carmen Ejogo) finds her relationship with Wayne imperiled by her writing aspirations and his jealousy.

What's interesting is how Wayne RESENTS being in a PARTRIARCHAL/HIERARCHAL SOCIETY where someone like his partner ROLAND is promoted and he is NOT (which he also blames on RACE RELATIONS).

However he also seems to harbor the same kind of SENTIMENTS due to the way we hear him calling the NEXT GENERATION a bunch of "pussies" in comparison to him and what he was like at age 17 when he was working as a HUNTER in NAM.

And we also heard him reminding his WIFE about how he SUPPORTED her for several YEARS while she wrote her book, before she also reminds him that what he did was USE IT as a way to CONTROL her and expected her to WASH HIS CLOTHES, COOK HIS MEALS, and CLEAN his HOUSE in return.

In other words, at the same time as we keep hearing WAYNE COMPLAIN about his UNFAIR LOT in life, we also hear him EXPRESSING the SAME kind of FEELINGS as those he feels are keeping him in a SUBORDINATE state.

So one also understands the reason why WAYNE would RESENT IT if his WIFE's BOOK becomes successful enough to SET her FREE from needing to depend upon him FINACIALLY.

Because once the BOOK makes enough MONEY then he'd also have no way to CONTROL her or what she does anymore???

Thus the reason why we might find their RELATIONSHIP IMPERILED by her writing aspirations???

Because he probably also won't like the LOSS of CONTROL that will come from it's being a SUCCESS???

Anymore than some of those that he works for would like it if WAYNE got PROMOTED to his having a better paying job than they did???

In other words, there also seems to be a connection between RACISM and the way that WAYNE treats his WIFE (with both situations involving SUBJUGATION)??

The glitter of Amelia's (Carmen Ejogo) book release is tarnished by a voice from the past

Wonder WHO the VOICE from the PAST might be???

A PARENT??? A Teacher??? Someone from the FRINGE GROUP that she mentioned that was connected to the PANTHERS???

Amelia (Carmen Ejogo) visits Lucy Purcell's best friend in hopes of gaining insights into the whereabouts of the mysterious one-eyed man

One also gets the feeling that Amelia's success in finding this person may also lead to her death.

Because PRETENDING to be a DIVORCED WOMAN with the COPS as a way to find out more about JULIE's appearance at the WAL GREENS didn't put her into the kind of DANGER that she'd be in if she goes off searching for this ONE EYED person (while she's once again PRETENDING to be someone else that she's not).

Maybe so???

Any one else have any other thoughts or comments???

A theory Regarding LUCY:

We know she was DRUNK when the detectives first meet her and we also know she died of an OVERDOSE.

And we also heard her say she has the SOUL of a WHORE, and heard her mother in law saying thatTom was working OFF SHORE when Julie was CONCEIVED.

So IF we assume LUCY had a SUBSTANCE ABUSE problem, and that someone else is the BIO DAD of JULIE, perhaps they also threatened to take LUCY to court and SUE her for CUSTODY due to the SUBSTANCE ABUSE???

Plus with her CHEATING on TOM that would probably also further the claim that she was an UNFIT mother???

And We also know the ORGANIZATION that was set up for MISSING CHILDREN also had an INTEREST in LUCY's MISSING DAUGHTER.

So what if HOYT or his SON was also the BIO DAD of JULIE who threatened to SUE LUCY for CUSTODY???

Perhaps LUCY agreed to take a SUM of MONEY from them and hand over JULIE to them in return for not being dragged into COURT where she also felt she wouldn't WIN???

And we also know HOYT had recently lost a GRAND CHILD, which also means they may have turned their attention to JULIE for that reason???

So maybe LUCY takes the MONEY, REGRETS IT, and then ends up in VEGAS where she OD's???
