I've always loved Cat. She's adorable and has an infectious laugh. I know some find her annoying but what do they know? However I dislike Sam. I hated her on iCarly and this show as well. Nothing against Janette McCurdy as an actor but man do I hate her character. Jade could be mean but secretly cared for Cat. Sam imo was just manipulating and a sneak.

I adore Cat. She reminds me of a girl I fell in love with in a psychiatric facility. To answer the OP I never had an issue with Sam. Despite her tough persona she cares for Cat.
