Discuss The Simpsons

Homer and Marge snuggling everywhere, at some point of episode mentioning masturbation, etc. What the heck? I was always under impression Simpsons is show for all family which can be enjoyed by adults and kids as well, but the last episode seemed cross the line.

Now I am not some American prude and usually complain about lack of realistic nudity in movies, but Simpsons, show I grew up as kid in 90s can't be watched nowadays so my child won't be asking me way too early what is masturbation?

OK, so this is really funny, but after reading your post I went and watched some Season 28 (I probably haven't watched a full The Simpsons in 15 or 20 years. Anyway, I found S28E1 just terrible. I was so sad to see how bad it had become. Then I remembered that you were unhappy with S28E15, so I watched it next...and thought it was hilarious. I mean, not HILARIOUS hilarious, but pretty stinking funny.

As far as it being a children's show, I'd say it never really was. It might have been a bit more tame before, but it's no SouthPark or even Family Guy, it's still pretty tame. Even S28E15 while filled with sexual innuendo, it was still kinda discrete about it. Has it gone off the rails? Not so much. Is it for children? It really never was. :)
