Discuss Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

It's the only season I own and watch, after season one the show went downhill with Lois finding out Clark is Superman, the wedding, Lex leaving and Cat leaving.

I don't care that much for Cat, but the best thing about the first season was Lex Luthor. It's a shame he hardly played any role in later seasons.

@Stratego! I always loved when Lex would return in the odd episodes in the next seasons. From what I read his lack of involvement was not wanting to commute from NYC to LA. Such a shame. Just finished watching the pilot episode. About to watch Strange Visitor (From Another Planet). It's my first Rewatch for a few years.

Yes, as far as I know, that was the reason. Still a shame, though. he was a very good Lex Luthor for this show.

Not at all the whole show was great

Like many of the older comic book shows, L&C was definitely better the first season. Not only did it feel timeless, but the ensemble cast was brilliant and well used. The humor was mined from the character interactions, not attempts at campy villains. And though I loved the progression of their relationship over the years, it got old watching Lois cry every episode that last season. Still, I loved this show.

The 1950's' show and this one were the best series about Superman.
