How do you feel about Will & Grace coming back?
In the finale we see where both Will & Grace end up with their kids going to college across the hall from each other. So how exactly will this come back show play out?

is it really happening? that finale scene with their kids was a flash forward and first time to see each other after their falling out (about 18 years?)
just saw this: Will & Grace Revival Trailer (2017)
So this time they should still be in the 'not in each other's lives' phase. Of course out of curiosity I will watch lol and wow at the 4 actors, they still look the same and still have same chemistry.

Yeah Karen actually looks more fit than she did during the first run.
Thats true it was a flash forward. So both Will and Grace have small kids then I'm assuming? Harry Connick Jr is Grace's kids biological father so it would be interesting if they bring him back as well?

I loved Will and Grace, so I'll be watching to see how it all pans out
The trailer was great till they started singing.

for me it's more fun to watch them 4 interacting than their love lives, except Stan maybe lol like watching them date randoms was more entertaining.
HCJ was the doctor who cheated in Africa if I remember it correctly? Yup, they should have primary school age kids unless they set it after the finale scene with their kids in college - unlikely since they will have to be older too.
Or maybe they will makeup and then will have another falling out hehe cos it really felt unreal for me that Will & Grace would continue with their lives without talking to each other

I agree it was fun watching them date around. I did like Will's last boyfriend though the cop. He seemed like the only one who was a decent enough for Will. I wonder if they ended up together and adopted their kid together?
Yeah I think Grace randomly ends up on a flight with HCJ and they have sex on the airplane and thats how she gets pregnant right?
I still remember whenever I fly, that on one episode they said if your plane has a big celeb on it then your plane will never crash. But if its a washed up celeb then that means your plane might crash LOL.

I am looking forward to it! I loved "Karen" and "Jack" in the first run of this series, so I am looking forward to their cutting remarks towards Will and Grace. I didn't watch the finale (I know!) so I have no idea how the original show ended. But I love to laugh so I'm definitely going to see how it is!

I didn't watch much of the show during its first run but I knew it was a hit. I'll try to catch a few episodes of its return to see if it all feels the same as before.

I watched the first 15 minutes last night and didn't find myself caring any. It felt like "the same old same old" - a past show resurrected well beyond its freshness date, the characters trying to recapture "magic in a bottle," but it no longer existing. Years back this series was a deserved major hit for its time, though now feels already "done."
After finding myself unimpressed, bored, and never actually entertained, throughout the first 15 minutes, I remembered that sitcoms run their course and then conclude for good reason, realized this one ended when was right for it to have done, and decided I won't be watching the return of this further.

There is going to be a reboot of the Roseanne show. How do you feel about that one?

rare, I'm feeling more curious about the Roseanne reboot, since it involves a family of characters that we watched grow up. Something about that seems like it might hold a lot of appeal.

It actually got better they ended up at the white house. I disagree with you given the extreme different political climate and us going backwards on PC and LGBT issues, the show is actually once again very relevant. I just hope they have great writers who continue the funniest jokes.

Well the weird thing is like you said everyones grown up on Roseanne. So all of her kids now would have kids of their own well into their 20's. so would the show be Roseanne as a grandma and taking care of her grand kids? Roseanne was also a very "of the people" show. It appealed to the unrepresented struggling blue collar lower middle class democrats. Not sure if they'd continue that since the first run had her winning the lottery and living it up towards the end. She was also a business owner before that right? So she was already moving up the ladder and chain so to speak.
Dan, was killed off too, but it looks like he'll be back for the reboot. So how will they do that exactly?

Mr. Charming, Roseanne apparently will do similar to how this show's reboot is, with various past things simply getting conveniently forgotten/ignored, as having never happened, or perhaps laughed off somehow, otherwise "excused away."
Regarding this show, here's something from the current TV Guide issue that I posted in a different TMDb thread yesterday:
"....(W)hat to do about that 2006 finale in which Will and Grace became estranged for 20 years? Well, it's scrapped. 'We never would have gone in that direction if we weren't ending the show,' [Max] Mutchnick [one of the series' creators] told critics in August. That means no time apart, no spouses and no kids. Will and Grace's apartment has had only a minor facelift, and Jack still regularly bursts in from across the hall, leaving things much the same as in the first 194 episodes...."

Yeah that conveniently takes care of all the difficult details that took place towards the end and the finale in WG first run.
Roseanne on the other hand has much larger issues to deal with. John Galecki is on the biggest hit show on tv right now Big Bang Theory on CBS. Whether you like it or not BBT is statistically the most watched sitcom on right now and has been for the last several years. So can he be on two shows on two rival networks starring at the same time?
Roseanne has been quite off the deep end with her political extreme views. She's always been pretty controversial but not sure if she'll still have that huge lower middle class demographic like the original show could appeal to? I wonder if it will be in current present day? or where it left off after its first run? Again Roseanne the character would be a grandma with grandkids well into their 20's. Really let that one sink in!
