U bizarnom spletu sudbine, vrhunski lopov nedavno pušten iz zatvora preuzima identitet Lucasa Hooda, zamjenika šerifa Bansheeja, istoga grada u koji se preselila i preudala njegova bivša partnerica i ljubavnica promijenivši ime u Carrie. Tajeći svoju prošlost, Lucas se sprijatelji s bivšim boksačem, a sada pipničarom, Sugarom Batesom, te počinje živjeti u Bansheeju kao šerif. Čeznući za Carrie, koja je sada žena odvjetnika Gordona Hopewella i majka dvoje djece, Lucas se nehotice uplete u rastuću korupciju amiškoga gangstera Kaija Proctora, pritom držeći na oku g. Rabbita, njujorškog mafijaškog bosa koji se želi osvetiti Lucasu i Carrie zbog pljačke dragulja nakon koje je Lucas završio u zatvoru.

Očajni potrčko Kaija Proctora imena Hanson odlučuje održati rave-tulum u amiškoj staji i prodavati tablete „ecstasyja“ domaće izrade koje je ukrao Proctoru mladima iz Bansheeja, među kojima je i Deva, Carriena buntovna kći. Doznavši za plan, Lucas i njegov tim provedu raciju, ali učinci loših tableta mnogim gostima tuluma izazovu grčeve, a u jednom slučaju i smrt. Iako Lucas Devu sretno odvede kući, Hanson nije te sreće kad se nakon debakla vrati u Kaijevu vilu.

Planira se meč mješovitih borilačkih vještina u lokalnom kasinu „Kinhano Moonu“ koji vode poglavica Benjamin Longshadow i njegov sin Alex. Investitori iz Bansheeja očekuju velik profit, ali cijeli je pothvat ugrožen kada prvak svojim dolaskom otkrije drugo lice te time razgnjevi Lucasa, a pogotovo Siobhan. Hoće li Lucas šutjeti i dopustiti da se meč održi prema planu?

Propala pljačka muzeja u Harrisburgu ima neočekivane posljedice kada Luca, Carrie i Job barem nakratko obnove svoje partnerstvo. Poslije, kad nagovori sirova sljedbenika Arna da ponudi inkriminirajuće dokaze, Lucas i Emmett uhite Proctora za Hansonovo ubojstvo, ali skrenu s puta prema zatvoru. Sugar traži svoj dio, Kendalla pretuku, Lucas i Carrie vole one s kojima su.

Motociklistička banda upada na godišnji „Spirit Festival“ u Bansheeju, što ima kobne posljedice te izaziva Lucasa i Siobhan da provedu pravdu na svoju ruku. Nakon što izgubi ključnog svjedoka protiv Proctora, Lucasa još više omete dolazak agenta FBI-a Xaviera, koji je došao promatrati situaciju. Rebecca Bowman, rastrgana između strasti i svojih amiških korijena, pronalazi srodnu dušu u šerifu.

Bivši zatvorenik iz Lucasove prošlosti imena Wicks prođe kroz Banshee, probudivši u Lucasu zatvorske uspomene na Albina, brutalnog insajdera kojeg je Rabbit unajmio da zagorča Lucasov boravak u zatvoru. Proctor pribjegne iznudi kada mjesni svećenik odbije prodati svoju kuću kako bi napravio mjesto za kasino-hotel.

Carrie zaprijeti razotkriti Lucasov alias kada pokuša zaštititi sebe i obitelj i odluči ga predati Rabbitu. U međuvremenu, pljačka drogerije pretvori se u talačku krizu u mjesnoj srednjoj školi, a životi Deve i supruge gradonačelnika Kendalla Janie nađu se među ugroženima.

Carrie nagovara Lucasa da zaboravi prošlost, dok sve sumnjičaviji Gordon poduzima sve da razotkrije njezinu. Izbačena iz svog amiškog doma, Rebecca moli Proctora da joj omogući nov početak u Bansheeju. Neočekivan posjet Rabbitova poručnika Oleka izaziva provalu sjećanja kod Carrie. Dok mu obitelj bdije nad oboljelim Benjaminom Longshadowom, Alexa neočekivano posjeti sestra Nola.

Rabbit je sve bliže Carrie i Lucasu. Carrie bježi iz bolnice u očajničkom pokušaju da izvuče obitelj iz grada. Kai upoznaje Rebeccu s poslovnim svijetom i daje Lucasu na znanje što misli o njegovu šaranju s njegovom nećakinjom. Alex Longshadow unajmljuje Proctorova nasilnika sklonog kocki da riješi problem u kasinu.

Spurned by Deva and Gordon, Carrie is forced to take up a new residence. With his leadership abilities questioned by rival George Hunter and the tribal council, Alex ramps up his efforts to recover the money stolen in the casino heist. Siobhan relives a nightmare when her ex-husband, Breece Connors, shows up looking to reconnect. Lucas is asked to return Proctor's favor.

A shocking murder near an Amish farm fractures relations between the Kinaho tribe and the Amish, who are forced to rely on Proctor to fend off a vengeful mob. Investigating the crime on Kinaho turf, Lucas and his deputies find themselves confronted by uncooperative gang members and their imposing leader, Chayton Littlestone. Meanwhile, Carrie welcomes an unexpected visitor, while Lucas deals with the sudden appearance of a most unwelcome one.

Following a lead from Brock, Lucas visits a strict Amish schoolteacher who might have insights into the murder of Kinaho tribe member Lana Cleary and the disappearance of Solomon Bowman. Emmett and Siobhan find transferring a captive Chayton more difficult than expected. Rebecca copes with the pain of her parents' rejection. Proctor offers Alex a peace offering, and Nola delivers a final blow for justice.

Lucas considers moving on after he and Carrie take a detour on their drive back to Banshee. Agent Racine recalls the botched case against Rabbit that has haunted him for years.

When Jason’s past catches up to him, Lucas decides to make a deal to save the boy’s life, and maybe his own. In the absence of Carrie, Gordon and Deva’s lives spin out of control. Proctor teaches Rebecca a hard lesson in allegiance.

In an effort to bring down Proctor, an enraged Lucas looks for trees to shake. After rattling the regulars and strippers at the Savoy, Lucas and his deputies rough up Sharp, a junkyard skinhead, for info on Proctor’s ecstasy operation. A family crisis brings Carrie, Deva and Gordon together; Alex (Anthony Ruivivar) faces a vote of no-confidence at the tribal council; Job shows off his explosive side.

An illegal search warrant helps Lucas bust Proctor, at a cost. Sharp and his skinheads look for payback against Emmett, testing the limits of the deputy’s patience. Carrie provides the cash for Max’s treatments and takes a small step towards thawing out her relationship with Gordon and Deva. Job finally gets a lead on Rabbit.

While in New York, Job visits a priest with ties to Rabbit; Carrie's relationship with Gordon faces a new test following another revelation.

Lucas and Carrie steel themselves for a showdown with a vengeful Rabbit and his ruthless soldiers; Rebecca proves her allegiance.

With Rabbit dead and Emmet's death avenged, Banshee has since been nothing but a quiet town. But things begin to change when Hood eyes a risky new job, as Chayton returns railing the Kinaho to war.

Nola returns to Banshee. Proctor's mother ails from a disease. Carrie must choose between the heist and her relationship with Colonel Douglas Stowe.

Nola and Burton have a bloody confrontation. Tommy defies Chayton's orders and attacks Proctor's club. Hood's secret is threatened when a FBI agent shows up at his door, as someone close to him discovers the truth.

Carrie quits her job at the diner. Deva steals from a video game store. After Siobhan's discovery, Lucas decides to kill Proctor before leaving Banshee for good, with unforeseen consequences.

Cadi becomes a war zone when Chayton and the Red Bones attack the station with Hood, Brock, Proctor, Siobhan and the others trapped inside.

Hood copes with Siobhan's death. The FBI takes over in the hunt for Chayton. A wedge is driven between Proctor and Rebecca.

Despite Job’s reservations, Lucas and his team pull off a daring heist at Camp Genoa. Lucas and Chayton are haunted by their recent deadly encounter. Calling a truce, Gordon and Carrie attempt an unusual intervention with Deva. Unbeknownst to her uncle, Rebecca heads to Philly to work out a deal with a spurned Proctor client.

Lucas and Brock head to Louisiana and the infamous Underground fight club in search of Chayton. Stowe pieces together details about the Camp Genoa heist, and who might be responsible. Burton’s torment turns to resolve. Sugar looks to repay an old boxing debt. Rebecca’s initiatives put Proctor and Emily in harm’s way.

Lucas recalls the history of his friendship with Job, while pondering the future – if there indeed will be one. Proctor and Emily pay the price for Rebecca’s recklessness. Carrie and Gordon pick up the pieces of their shattered relationship. Stowe and Leo land a big fish. Bunker reconnects with his skinhead past. Deva gets a lesson about crime and punishment.

Lucas recalls a furtive chapter in his life and a fan of Job's work offers him special treatment. Later, Lucas is surprised when Gordon joins him for final negotiations with Stowe in Genoa, and Proctor and Rebecca pick up a new ally as they depart for Philadelphia to settle a score.

With his inability to find Job, Lucas returns to Banshee two years later to look for a serial murderer on the loose.

Carrie embarks on a vigilante crusade. Brock eyes Lucas in the serial-murder case.

Lucas and Carrie enlist Fat Au in a last-ditch attempt to track down Job.

Carrie strikes again; Bunker treads on thin ice; another grisly murder rocks Banshee.

Calvin is tested by Watts' mercenary partnership with Proctor, whose promise to the Colombians has taken a severe hit after the torching of his factory. Following separate leads in the serial-killer case, Dawson and Lucas converge in a members-only Goth club replete with painful SM initiation rites. Proctor, through Burton, sends a forceful message to his Amish kin. Brock vows justice in a televised press conference. Cruz scopes out Carrie's fortress while Sugar helps a displaced Lucas find familiar lodgings.

With help from Lucas, Dawson narrows her search for Declan Bode, a Satanist “person of interest” in Banshee’s serial murders. An emboldened Calvin throws down a gauntlet to Proctor and Kurt. Carrie’s recent vigilantism ends up putting both her and Deva in peril.

Fearing for Dawson’s safety, Lucas and Brock ramp up their efforts to hunt down Bode. With the Brotherhood poised to go to war with Proctor, Kurt looks to keep Maggie safe while Calvin takes out his frustrations at the office. Job settles a score with Leo Fitzpatrick, a Camp Genoa adversary.

Resolved to leave Banshee, Lucas learns that the murder case he thought was finally closed may in fact be opening again. After a tense faceoff with Calvin and the Brotherhood, Proctor looks to finalize his deal with the Colombians. Carrie takes aim at one final act of vengeance. Brock demands allegiance from Bunker as Banshee braces for an uncertain future.
