I can´t think of a series more fitting to do it. Buffy and Xena showed how to perfectly match Drama series and Musical.
Would love for Once to do it, too.

I don't think this show is funny enough to have a musical episode, but they are having one. They are doing original songs. That at least is good. I think it will be terrible based on spoilers and how bad 6b has been so far.

Neither Buffy, Xena nor Greys Anatomy were comedies. But it still worked great for them :)
I really wished they hadn´t canceled Galavant... I miss that show ... every episode a musical episode :)

Well the Grey's musical episode was just bizarre. I have never seen the Xena one. Buffy was actually a funny show. The humor in the dialogue was a big part of that show. It wasn't straight sitcom comedy, but comedy was certainly a big part of the show. They were constantly quiping and having funny monsters and situations. That is just not true of Ouat. Ouat takes itself way too seriously and so i don't think that a musical episode will work because of that.
It is going to happen. It is going to be bizarre. The best they can hope for is one good song, in my opinion.
