Item: Season 4

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: Hello,

I'm not sure what is going on with the 2018 series "Drain the Oceans", but there is something very strange about Season 4. The first 3 episodes all aired on August 2nd. What is supposedly Episode 6 aired on August 9th, before Episodes 4 and 5. On the same day as Episode 6, two Episodes named "Hollywood" and "The First Americans" aired. Neither of those episodes seem to have numbers assigned to them. I record all episodes of the show, so I can easily see the air dates. I updated episode 6 to the August 9 date, and then my update was deleted. I can also see when episodes 4 and 5 are scheduled to air, and I put those dates in also. All three of the dates I entered were removed. I would like to understand why. It's not my fault the season seems to be a mess , and episodes are being aired out of order. Shouldn't the air dates be the actual original air dates? It would be nice to get some explanation when our changes are summarily deleted. I'm not saying there's not a reasonable explanation, but I would like to know what it is.

Thanks

If you have reasons to believe a specific episode aired on National Geographic US before its official air date, please provide proof.

TV guides in general can be very unreliable. They are episodes 3 and 4 on the official website: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/tv/shows/drain-the-oceans/episode-guide/season-4

Hi Banana,

Thanks for your response. As I said in my original submission, I recorded all these episodes and watched them from the recordings. They were aired via Xfinity on the dates I listed. The issue arose because I was watching episodes before they were supposedly aired. The app I use to keep track of watched episodes uses TMDb dates for episodes and will not let me mark them as watched before they are supposedly aired.

I no longer have "proof" of this as I didn't keep the recordings for the two months since I submitted the issue. I suppose the "proof" would be a screen shot of my recordings showing the air dates. I certainly have no reason to misrepresent when I was able to record the aired episodes. Why would anyone do that? Next time I'll be sure to submit the "proof". I don't really care if the listings on National Geographic and TMDb have incorrect aired dates. I was just trying to put in the actual air dates, and no one seems to want them, so that's fine.
