Jim owns a wild stallion called Fury that none of his ranch hands can tame - except young orphan Joey. When the stallion is injured by one of the ranchers, Joey runs away to help the wounded steed. Jim and his friend Helen find him in the nick of time, saving Fury's life. Jim adopts Joey as his son, and so begins a lifetime of adventure for Fury at the Broken Wheel Ranch.

A wild stallion is menacing all of the local ranches and freeing their horses. Neighbouring rancher Charlie Stevens thinks that Fury is to blame, but Joey has seen the white renegade stallion and must find it, because Charlie wants Fury dead for something he had no part in.

Jim has to sell some horses or lose the ranch. Pigott, the horse coper (dealer) offers to buy Fury but Jim says he is nor for sale. Later, when Joey wants to show Pigott the tricks that Fury can do, Pigott tricks Joey into being on free government land. Pigott then claims Fury and tries to get away.

Joey gets a rifle and goes hunting with Pete. What they find is trouble in the form of an escaped criminal.

There is a drought. Joey becomes a junior Ranger and tries to protect a couple of hunters from starting a forest fire.

When Fury is smitten by a white mare, young Joey's jealousy gets the better of him, and he lets the horses escape into the wild! With Helen's help, Joey brings them back!

The Newtons babysit Betsy, a spoiled young girl whose mother is marrying Jim's friend Bill. Betsy misses her dad, who was killed in the Korean War. Betsy's grief, anger, and hatred of Bill make her stay with the Newtons a trying time.

Rustlers hit the Broken Wheel Ranch. Pete and Joey try and rescue Fury, but Fury ends up rescuing them.

A wealthy gentleman rancher and his wife want to buy Fury. Fury's not for sale, declares Jim, but his resolve weakens when Joey suffers a head injury that will leave him blind unless he undergoes an immediate $5,000 surgery.

Joey joins the Boy Scouts of America, but Joey's friend Buzz thinks scouting is kid's stuff. Joey and Fury set out into the woods to show Buzz that scouting can make men out of boys.

After a rabid dog bites Joey in the schoolyard, Jim and Fury must race against time to get him treated.

Jim's old friend Val Benton visits the Broken Wheel Ranch. Benton is a rodeo cowboy confined to a wheelchair following an accident, but Joey, who idolizes Benton, is convinced a miracle will allow Benton to walk again.

Joey befriends a new boy in school, but the friendship is discouraged by the boy's demanding father who requires his son to spend all of his free time studying in order to excel in school.

The Broken Wheel's mortgage holder wants to own Fury and convinces Joey to enter him into a winner-take-all horse race where Fury himself is the prize. An Irish hobo happens along and helps train Joey and Fury for their big race.

Jim takes Joey to go visit an old friend Tom Skobee who runs a logging camp. Tom is being plagued with sabotage. Jim investigates and with the help of Fury, catches the bad guy.

Joey, Pete, and Fury go to the carnival to see the Wonder Horse. Two of the carnival hands think they can make a lot of money with Fury so they steal him, but Joey catches them and saves Fury.

Joey and Frankie are playing pirates down by the river. They meet a real pirate (Alan Hale Jr.) with a treasure chest full of silver and gold items. The man turns out to be a thief instead of a pirate. Fury saves Joey and Frankie.

A young couple's baby daughter wanders away from their camper. Jim and Pete join the sheriff's search party. Joey, Frankie, and Fury also try to locate the little girl before the brewing bad storm blows in.

A tornado strikes a town about 100 miles from the Broken Wheel Ranch. The Sheriff wants to set up a tornado alarm system amongst the ranchers in the valley. Jim, Pete, Joey and Fury dig a tornado shelter.

A pinto stallion has taken over Fury's old herd. Fury leaves the ranch to gain back control. In the meantime, Joey goes searching for Fury and is attacked by the pinto.

Jim and the Sheriff organize a bike safety program after a near miss accident on the county roads involving Joey, Pee Wee and their friends.

Joey and Pee Wee baby sit for Martha Mitchell, whose husband had deserted her and her five year old son Mark. While they are baby sitting, two mysterious tramps arrive.

The County Fair is in town. Joey and Pee Wee want to go see Horace the Trick Horse. But Horace is getting too old to perform and his trainer Sam (Hal K. Dawson) is getting fired. The owner of the Fair wants to send Horace to **gasp** the glue factory. Joey, Fury, and Pee Wee hatch a plan that just might save the day.

A cougar is on the loose killing livestock. A large bounty has been placed on the cougar's head. Joey, Pee Wee, and the boys want to go out and hunt the cougar, but Warden Lane is requiring the boys to get their hunting license after taking a Rifle Safety Course taught by Jim. Andy is in too big a hurry to collect that bounty so he sets out on his own, breaking several safe hunting rules. Joey and Fury take out after him, but will they get to him before the cougar does?

Mr. Malakey (Will Wright) moves into a nearby ranch and damns up the stream to the Broken Wheel Ranch's south pasture. He's mean to everyone but with a little kindness from Jim, Pete, Joey, and Pee Wee, Mr. Malakey softens up.

Joey and Pee Wee go out fishing and meet up with two other fishermen. But they are not who they seem to be. Things go bad when they find out the fishermen are really diamond thieves. The diamond thieves kidnap Pete to help them get through the police roadblock.

Two local teenagers, Chuck and Vince, are cruising around in a hot-rod, shooting off their dad's guns, and generally getting into trouble. They steal some dynamite and things go from bad to worse

Horse thieves are in the area. Joey and Pee Wee see them and follow them, but the horse thieves seem to just disappear. So Joey and Pee Wee set out on an expedition to find them. Their search takes them to an expansive cave hideout. Only Fury knows where they are.

Jim hires a parolee (John Baer) to give him a second chance. Pete is unsure that this is a good idea. Things get worse when Pete's wallet comes up missing.

Joey and Pee Wee visit Old Mr. Carty at his gold mine to take a photo of him for a human interest story. A couple of claim jumpers try to kill Mr. Carty with a landslide. Joey and Pee Wee have a plan to help old Mr. Carty get his mine back.

Aunt Harriet comes to visit the Broken Wheel Ranch. All she finds is dirt, grime, and disorder. WIll Jim, Pete, and the boys survive Aunt Harriet's visit? Princess, Fury's mare, has a colt and they name him Thunder.

In this episode, Pee Wee (Jimmy Baird) leaves the Broken Wheel Ranch to move upstate to live with his dad. The guys meet little Packy Lambert. He wants to buy a horse and he has a whole two dollars to pay for it. But Packy's dad says they can't afford a horse. So Packy brings him back to the corral at the Broken Wheel Ranch. The horse, Lucky, follows Packy who's running away from home. The guy's go out to search for Packy.

Jim takes on a wild palomino that no one else can tame. But Packy proves with a little love anything is possible.

Joey and Packy are having a Halloween party in the barn. Their friends Roger and Phil are getting in trouble pulling pranks and Jim invites them to the party. Roger and Phil have to learn their lesson the hard way.

Smoke Nelson (John Pickard) helps Joey and Fury after they take a tumble. The next day he gets arrested for armed robbery. So Joey and Packy go to town to visit him at the jail. Fury helps Smoke break out of jail, but was it for Smoke to go prove his innocence or to make his escape?

The weather has been very dry and conditions are ripe for wildfires. Ranger Bill Marsh enlists Jim, Pete, and Joey to help keep a watch out. Joey gets to be a lookout up in a fire tower. Packy wants to help out too. Carelessness on the part of a road work crew causes a disaster.

A couple of rival university professors are competing with each other to search for a rare bird on The Broken Wheel Ranch. Joey and Packy join in the search. But who will be the first to find it?

Thunder is feeling his oats. He gets out of his stall and runs the range. There's a killer white stallion on the loose and the local ranchers think it's Thunder doing the killing.

Arthur (Peter Votrian) and his mother move into a nearby ranch for the summer. Arthur is sickly and the doctor thinks that horse riding and relaxation would do him good. Joey and Jim think Arthur's mother is a little too overprotective.

Air Force jets are flying over the area causing sonic booms. Miles Jackson, a local resident, is putting together a petition to shut down the Air Base. Jim assists Col. Benson in convincing the neighbors that air defense is necessary and can be helpful to everyone.

A mining engineer and his son come to do some research near the Broken Wheel Ranch. Jim invites them to park their travel trailer at the ranch. An outlaw breaks into the barn at night and steals a horse. The Sheriff enlists Jim and Pete to join the posse. But while they're gone, Joey and Ronnie (Lars Henderson) go looking for the outlaw.

Some crooks are in the area. They bought twelve horses from the Broken Wheel Ranch and used counterfeit money. Pete tells Packy the legend about the old relay station being haunted. Packy sneaks out at night to go and investigate.

Pee Wee (Jimmy Baird) comes back to visit the ranch. He's been learning all about petroleum engineering from his father. Joey and Pee Wee find old Mr. Farnum at his wildcat oil well and he's been hurt. Old Mr. Farnum has been experiencing unexplained accidents at the oil well. Joey and Pee Wee investigate.

Joey and Pee Wee are out in the woods working on their Boy Scout merit badges. Sally is also out working on her Girl Scout badges. They learn it's easier when they all work together.

Joey sees a car run off the road and goes to help. The two guy's from the car come to the Broken Wheel Ranch to await the doctor. But they are not who they seem to be.

Joey wants a car so he and Pee Wee start working on an old beat-up jalopy from the local junk yard. They fix it all up and their friend Chuck 'borrows' the car and wrecks it.

Joey starts the Capitol City Junior Achievement Corporation in the barn. Packy gets elected as treasurer. Packy starts business dealings without checking with anyone. But all isn't lost because the Junior Achievement Corporation is on the job.

Joey and Packy have got baseball fever. Jim hires a drifter to work at the ranch and he turns out to be Roy Daniels, a famous baseball player. Roy (Charles Aidman) is downhearted because of an injury that he thinks will end his baseball pitching career. Joey and Packy help him realize that all is not lost.

Joey and Packy get to go on a real trail drive along with Jim and Pete. They even have a covered wagon for Pete and all the supplies, just like in the old days. Their neighbor Red (John Milford) is along to help but he may be working for some rustlers. We find out Pete has a guitar and loves to play.

Thunder is stolen from the Broken Wheel Ranch. Two crooks are trying to make Thunder mean so they can sell him to the rodeo. They're promoting him as the 'Man-Killer'.

It's American Education Week and all the parents are invited to visit the school on Tuesday night. But Packy's parents have plans they can't break. Packy decides the best thing for him to do is become a hobo, so he skips school and goes to visit Bones Reese, a hobo who's passing through the area.

Joey and Packy come across two men in the woods who claim to be surveyors. But they're really timber thieves and they want to cut down all the trees on Moose Hill.

It's Thanksgiving at the Broken Wheel Ranch. Packy is not very happy because they intend to roast his pet turkey named Tom and have him for dinner. Packy has to do something to save his friend Tom.

An oldtimer named Grubstake (Andy Clyde) comes by to visit and tells everyone about a treasure map that he has. Trouble is a couple of crooks want that map. Joey and Packy go with Grubstake to help find the gold.

Joey, Packy, and Vic (Billy Chapin) learn about building rockets. They start a Rocket Research Society with Joey's high school teacher. Pete's worried that they'll all be blown to the moon. Vic's dad don't take much stock in rocketry and forbids Vic to join the Rocket Research Society.

A man is trying to take the Broken Wheel Ranch with the help of a crooked Land Office manager. He wants to sell the land to the government for a huge profit. Joey and Packy study the law books and come up with an idea to thwart the crooks.

Fury has lost a shoe and he needs a blacksmith. Eli Kane (Peter Whitney) is the local blacksmith but business has been slow and his landlord is about to foreclose on the shop. Jim has a plan to help save Eli's shop.

Jim becomes a Big Brother to Mike (Tony Haig) to help him get his bearings in life. Mike has been kicked around so much, he thinks the whole world's against him. The Broken Wheel Ranch is just what he needs.

The circus is in town and Joey and Packy are spending the whole day there. Packy wants to be a lion tamer and join the circus. The next day the lion escapes from the circus and Packy gets his chance to be a tamer.

Some burglars are in the area and they've got the Sheriff stumped for clues. Joey and Packy try their hand at detective work.

There's a horse bogged down in the waterhole at Stone Gorge. Joey and Packy stop in at old Mrs. McGilmore's place to call for help but she throws them off her property without letting them use the phone. Joey and Packy go back a few days later to see if they can lend Mrs. McGilmore a hand.

Joey is entered in the Capitol City Gymkhana (a Gymkhana is like a friendly rodeo). His friend Danny (Stephen Hammer) is also entered but Danny's father (Bartlett Robinson) accuses Jim of cheating because Jim is one of the judges.

It's August 26th and it's Packy's birthday. He gets what he's been wanting, a new rifle. He and Joey go out hunting, but they run into trouble.

Joey and Packy are helping out at the Eagles Nest Camp for underprivileged kids. But the new owner wants to close the camp. He wants to use the area for his brood mares. Aunt Harriet is visiting the Broken Wheel Ranch. Maybe she can help out.

Packy has a problem and her name is Willie (Wendy Winkelman). She's good at everything. Everything! Packy has to do something or he won't be able to face the fellows again. He and old timer Jake (Doodles Weaver) hatch a plan.

Carlos (Carlos Vera) is staying with Joey for the summer. Joey doesn't have a lot of time for Packy. So Packy doesn't like Carlos very much and he's mean to him. When Carlos runs away to back home, Packy has a change of heart.

Dick Thompson (Burt Metcalfe) is diving in the streams on the Broken Wheel Ranch to look for gold. Joey and Packy want to learn skin diving so they start a Skin Diving Club.

Packy has a lot on his mind when he falls asleep and he has an amazing dream. The dream is set back in the 1800's and takes place in a real western town. Everyone plays dual roles in the dream sequence of this episode. It has everything you would want in a top notch 1950's western movie, including Joey Newton as Billy the Kid (dressed in black). This was the last episode in the Fury (1955-1960) television series.
