Item: Bleach
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Thousand year blood war is not a continuation of the show seasons, it is a new series, so having it both as a new season (which it's not) and a Japanese titled show (someone must've uploaded that), is very confusing. It should just be listed as a seperate show in itself, which is what it is

As already indicated in this previous content, it should be listed as a second season here.

It is not a second season, it is not even considered the same anime, imdb has it listed as a seperate anime, mal has it listed as a seperate anime, and if you go to the official site of pierrot.jp (which is the studio behind bleach), and you go to the page where they list all of their studio's anime's, you'll see that BLEACH and BLEACH 千年血戦篇 (which is 1000 year blood war) are listed as 2 separate anime entirely. It even says that BLEACH ran from 2004 and ended in 2012, and that BLEACH 千年血戦篇 is currently airing. Reason I'm saying this is not because I want to be nitpicky, but some people have some automated tools that rely on this site for the correct metadata, which is getting a bit messy in this case, because now themoviedb is the only one that lists different (incorrect) metadata

Bleach adapt the original manga up to chapter 479. BLEACH 千年血戦篇 adapt the same manga starting from chapter 480. Consequently, it should be considered as a sequel and it is listed as such on AniDB.
As per our rules, sequels should be entered as seasons in one single entry. I quote : "Sequels series (i.e. a direct continuation of the story) are added within the same entry. When the episodes numbers are continuous, all episodes are added to the same season. When the episode count is restarted (i.e. the first episode is Episode 1), the new episodes are added as a new season."

If this is considered as a sequel season, then please re-edit this to be listed as season 17. You can not have 2 season 1s in the same series, it makes no sense.
I request you reconsider your position, and organize it similar to Naruo: Shippuuden as a new series branch, regardless of what your rules say. If you rules are being followed correctly, then your rules are obsolete and I recommend they be updated to account for reality.

The original series is considered as season 1 (the episodes were numbered consecutively from 1 to 366, so it should be considered as one single season).
The current sequel series is considered as season 2.
There is nothing to reconsider. Our rules are clear.
As you can see in the content reports of Naruto, this series is waiting to be merged by the administrator.
Our rules are perfectly accurate.

2 years later and Naruto is still not merged. the rule is already broken, what's one more series that is clearly affecting your users. It's not like you are consistent already. The app I'm using just doesn't work by labelling it as second season, not that you'd agree but will you reconsider, just set it so you merge it and forget about it like you did with Naruto?
