Franz Leitmayr and Ivo Batic are in an internal competition for "Policeman of the Year". Then the phone call: a dead man in the new Jewish synagogue, presumably outside their jurisdiction. The public prosecutor begs them to be sensitive in their inquiries in the Jewish community, but the investigators approach the case like any other.
