To take preventive measures against further atrocities caused by the Unidentified Life Forms, the police introduce the G3 unit. But when it is time to fight the murderous Pantheras Luteus, the G3 falls short to the power of Agito.

After the murders of the Saeki family, Makoto Hikawa decides to do some digging into the photo he found of the son, Nobuhiko. Halfway through his investigation two more "Unknowns" appear.

At the same time Shoichi Tsugami, who is trying to get along with his adoptive family, falls into a trance-like state and becomes the Kamen Rider Agito.

Agito turns on G3 after defeating Pantheras Albus and Pantheras Tristis, damaging the G3's suit severely. The police have no choice but to label Agito dangerous.

Shoichi Tsugami comes to grips with his situation and declares that he must "protect the place where he belongs".

Ryo Ashihara finally awakens from his critical state to quit the swim team and go rogue.

The O-Parts lab finally unwound the ancient puzzle, revealing a mysterious DNA model, and they try to replicate the DNA.

After being saved by Agito from the two snake Unknowns and seeing Ryo Ashihara accidentally change into Kamen Rider Gills Mayumi Kitahira decides she must put distance between herself and her former boyfriend.

Seeing her leave Ryo decides to put his transformation to the test, but he must battle the monster within himself.

After defeating one of the Snake Unknowns Ryo Ashihara goes into shock due to the recoil of his powers and is abducted by the DNA child.

Makoto Hikawa's supervisors feel that they must rethink Makoto operating the G3 unit and have suspended all operations of the G3-System. Makoto reflects on the incident that led to him becoming G3.

Mana touches Shoichi Tsugami's head when he collapses and accidentally dives into his memory with her powers, discovering a terrible connection between him and her late father.

Mana Kazaya distances herself with Shouichi while she sorts out what she saw in his memories.

Agito unleashes a new power in order to stop the Corvus Croccio Unknown from causing anymore casualties.

The police department finally decides what action to take with the G3-System.

The OverLord has fully matured and vanishes, leaving a frightened Gills wondering why he should be so scared.

Toru Hojo has succeeded in becoming the G3-System operator and is out to prove that he can not only defeat the Unknowns but capture Agito.

Shoichi Tsugami bumps into someone who says she knowns who he is, but she seems to be hiding something dangerous.

Shoichi Tsugami has been taken into questioning for the murder of the woman he was suppose to meet, Tomoko Miura. In order to prove his innocence Mana Kazaya must use her psychic abilities to find the true culprit.

Ryo Ashihara learns about his father's death, who up until now has been missing.

The octopus Unknown, Mollipes Octipes, that melted after the battle with Toru Hojo, comes back to finish the job.

Toru Hojo flees the battle with the octopus Unknown after his attacks fail to work, abandoning the G3 suit and leaving Agito to defeat the Unknown.

Shouichi and Mana decide to track down a friend of Tomoko Miura who may or may not know about Shouichi's past.

Ryo Ashihara discovers a notebook in his father's belongings full of names and tries to figure out what his father was working on before he passed away.

Due to his excellent deduction work and saving a woman, with some help from Agito, from a pair of Unknowns Makoto Hikawa is once again instated as the operator of the G3 unit.

Saeko Shinohara tells Shouichi and Ryo that there are ruins of an ancient civilization in the nearby lake and that the people of the civilization use to revere a warrior whose mark bears a similar resemblance to Agito's mask. Unfortunately, Saeko seems to have closed herself off to other people after the Akatsuki incident.

The OverLord has been declared mentally unstable and was moved from the jail cell to a hospital, where he is paid a visit by a mysterious man.

At the same time Koji Kono and Makoto Hikawa walk though Professor Nobuyuki Kazaya's murder.

Shouichi and Taichi try to figure out what to do for Mana's birthday.

G3 comes to the rescue after Shouichi is stung by the scorpion Unknown. The diagnosis is that Shouichi only has 24 hours to live, he decides to live out his day normally telling Makoto Hikawa that he just dosen't feel like he is going to die.

Ryo Ashihara continues with the list in his father's notebook but comes up short.

The G3 team takes a further look into the ball and VHS tape hidden by Professor Nobuyuki Kazaya.

With the help of The OverLord Shouichi defeats the scorpion Unknown and lives to see another day.

Toru Hojo has received permission to capture Agito, but not to the extreme measures he wanted.

Taichi falls ill and a woman claiming to be a housekeeper, hired by Professor Misugi for while he is away, treats him back to health.

The Misugi household's new housekeeper, Aki Sakaki, is confronted by Ryo Ashihara because her name is in his father's notebook. Unfortunately for Ryo she claims she knows nothing, but he doesn't believe her and follows her.

After becoming closer to Shouichi and Taichi, Aki becomes the target of an Unknown... and Mana's wrath.

Ryo Ashihara is ever persistent and keeps pushing Aki Sakaki about what happened to his father on the Akatsuki-go.

Mana still believes that Aki is not Shouichi's girlfriend but despite her wishes Shouichi becomes enticed with the idea of having a girlfirend, even if he can't remember her.

Toru Hojo puts his team in place to capture Agito, but will it be enough?

Kamen Rider Gills is left for dead after being assaulted by Toru Hojo's firing squad and G3's attack.

Shouichi decides to live at Aki Sakaki's house while she's gone.

Due to the lack of progress in anti-Unknown defense the police decide to bring in Toru's ex-partner Ryuji Tsukasa to head the G3 team.

Shouichi decides to take over the bakery he works at when his boss, Sashi Hanamura, is murdered.

Ryuji Tsukasa convinces the police department that the current G3 team should be disbanded and a new one should be made with him at the helm.

Toru Hojo figures out that Hanamura's death was not caused by an Unknown but by a human making it look like an Unknown.

Ryo Ashihara remains in critical condition but is being cared for by Shoichi Tsugami. The OverLord imparts a portion of his power to Tetsuya Sawaki after Tetsuya sees what humanity has to show him.

Aki Sakaki's powers awaken nine months after the Akatsuki-go incident. She uses her new found powers to hunt the members of the Agito Capture plan.

Thinking that Ryo Ashihara is dead Aki Sakaki goes after the Agito Capture team for vengeance. Ryo awakens to a voice in his head and finds Shoichi Tsugami living in Aki's house.

With proof of people who have supernatural powers the G3 team starts connecting the dots to why the Unknown attack people.

Seeing Aki Sakaki dead in the hands of Agito, Ryo Ashihara mistakenly believes he killed her and attacks Agito as Gills. Agito, Gills, and G3 have a heated battle resulting in the G3-System being damaged far beyond repair.

After the battle the police department say that the new G3-System, G3-X, will have to compete against Toru Hojo's new system, the V-1 system, to see what suit will be used against the Unknowns in the future.

After his body is pushed to the limit Makoto Hikawa is forced to give up his position as the G3-X operator. Sumiko Ozawa feels that Makoto uses too much force and that he will not sync with the G3-X's AI system, she instead needs a much more relax and carefree person... like Shoichi Tsugami.

After going berserk, destroying the V-1 system and the second bee Unknown, and then attacking Agito, Makoto Hikawa faints in the G3-X system. He is hospitalized and comes to the realization that while the G3-X system is perfect, he has many flaws. Makoto turns to the only other person he sees as a suitable candidate for the G3-X, Shoichi Tsugami.

Makoto Hikawa takes full responsibility for going berserk after seeing Shoichi Tsugami effectively deal with an Unknown in the G3-X suit. The police cheifs recognize this and decide to have Toru Hojo operate the G3-X once the V-1 system is disbanded.

Sumiko Ozawa must come to grips that her G3-X system is too perfect and too smart and in order for Makoto to operate it she must make it flawed.

Ryo Ashihara is fully healed and looks for revenge against Agito.

Agito is defeated by Gills, leaving him to drown. Shouichi doesn't die but regains his memory and then proceeds on a trip to find out just who the real Shoichi Tsugami is.

Ryo Ashihara continues to work down the list of names in his father's notebook, meeting Aki Sakaki's "friends": Masumi Sekiya and Katsuhiko Sagara.

After being saved by Ryo Ashihara, Masumi Sekiya and Katsuhiko Sagara decide that Gills possesess too much of a threat to them and must die.

Shouichi and the real Shoichi Tsugami meet face-to-face and talk about their one common link: late sister and girlfriend Yukina Sawaki, who was one of the first people with powers and committed suicide.

A few weeks before Episode 27...

A boy running from his past, and two men in black suits, bumps into Ryo Ashihara. Ryo decides to help the boy run far away... until they run into an Unknown.

A victim of an Unknown attack happened to be a safe cracking thief whose accomplise was his younger brother. The police figure that if they can find the younger brother than they can protect and arrest him. Makoto Hikawa recruits Mana and Shouichi to help in the effort.

Toru Hojo decides to take Nobuyuki Kazaya's murder case saying that it wasn't an Unknown that killed him but a human with telekinetic powers.

Tetsuya Sawaki, going against the OverLord's principles, tries to revive Ryo Ashihara using a super powered human. Unfortunately, the man who killed him, Katsuhiko Sagara, is not powerful enough to do it.

After attacking the tennis team at the fireworks display Mana believes that she unknowingly killed her father. Mana tries to distance herself from the people she loves and gets kidnapped by Katsuhiko Sagara, who hopes that she can make a future safe for people with supernatural powers.

Mana, under the guidance of Tetsuya Sawaki, starts the process of reviving Ryo Ashihara and it seems to have a backlash on her body.

Shouichi tries to reach out to Mana who's run away from home, showing her that she's not alone in trying to find "the place where they belong".

The El of Water has possessed Masumi Sekiya and it's reviled that it killed the two Akatsuki-go members from Gills' Resurrection in her body without her knowing. The El of Water has now turned its sights on Agito.

Shouichi comes face to face with the El of Water and believes no matter what he can't defeat it, becoming scared. He starts to question why he became Agito.

After being beaten by the El of Water both Gills and Agito retreat. Shouichi becomes bedridden with injuries and Ryo must protect him even though both of them known they are no match for the deadly Unknown.

One of the last remaining survivors of the Akatsuki-go incident, Koji Majima, becomes targeted by a mantis Unknown.

Shouichi, fighting for himself, transforms into Agito Burning form and defeats the mantis Unknown and the El of Water. The El of Water, in a last ditch effort, retreats into the OverLord's body and vows vengeance against Agito. Shouichi regains his self-esteem and rejoins the Misugi household.

Ryo Ashihara witnesses someone being attacked by an Unknown and goes to save her, he encounters a strange man in black named Kaoru Kino.

Kaoru Kino saves Ryo Ashihara and Koji Majima from an Unknown. He tells Ryo that his sole purpose in life is to save people, either as a doctor or as Agito. But can this man, haunted by his past, really be trusted?

Makoto Hikawa finally figures out that the Unknown are targeting the people that he once rescued but doesn't know why.

Kaoru Kino hunts down and brutally injures Ryo Ashihara, claiming that the world only needs one Agito. As Koji Majima and Ryo flee Kino turns back into a human from Another Agito and is seen by both Makoto Hikawa and Toru Hojo. While Makoto is truly thankful that Agito is a "pure" person, Toru believes that he can once and for all capture Agito when he transforms back into a human.

Shouichi is captured by Toru Hojo on accident when leaving a battle with an Unknown. Toru takes him in for questioning even though Toru saw Kaoru Kino transform from Agito previously.

Ryo Ashihara, who escapes from the murderous scalpel of Kino, finds himself once again hunted by Another Agito.

Agito and Another Agito battle and come to a draw, allowing enough time to let Ryo Ashihara, Koji Majima, and Makoto Hikawa escape. Tetsuya Sawakii meets Koji and Ryo and tells Koji that there is only one way to save Ryo... to transfer his seed of Agito to Ryo.

Toru Hojo and Sumiko Ozawa report to their superiors that Shoichi Tsugami is Agito and that he should be allowed to act freely. Their superiors decide to keep this fact a secret leaving Hikawa to wonder about who is Agito.

Ryo Ashihara awakens a new power, Exceed Gills, and manages to severely damage Another Agito but decides not deal the finishing blow. Makoto Hikawa, now knowing the identity of Agito, doesn't know how he should face Shoichi Tsugami.

Shoichi Tsugami and Makoto Hikawa have finally created a good fighting bond and their relationship is back to normal. Shouichi feels that it is best to figure out why Kaoru Kino attacked them is to talk to him and figure out why he is living in the past.

The El of Water has finally recovered and seeks to eliminate all the Riders once and for all.

Shoichi Tsugami has fallen unconscious during the fight with the newly evolved El of Water and all the pieces of his memories on the Akatsuki have put themselves together.

Meanwhile, Mana uses her powers to translate the letter found by Toru Hojo and learns the history behind the Overlords of Light and Darkness and the origin behind the seeds of Agito.

Agito unleashes his Shining Form and combines his strength with the other Riders and defeats the El of Water. The OverLord of Darkness realizes that Agito's power has become too strong and he must deal with the Riders directly to save his beloved humans.

After Kaoru Kino's seed of Agito is stolen from him the OverLord of Darkness turns his sights on Ryo Ashihara, looking to take Gills' power.

Shoichi Tsugami and Mana Kazaya go to Toru Hojo for answers about Mana's father's murder but is the truth they uncover more than they can handle?

Thanks to Ryo Ashihara, Shoichi Tsugami escapes from the OverLord of Darkness. Shouichi begins to question what it means to be Agito now that he believes that his sister killed Mana's father.

Makoto Hikawa is released and back on duty. Unfortunately, he is still suffering from a severe concussion.

Shoichi Tsugami takes solace knowing that he is no longer Agito and that he is free from a fate that could be much like his sister's. But with Agito, Gills, and Another Agito out of commission who will save Mana when she is attacked?

One month later, there have been zero sightings of Unknowns so the police decide to temporarily disband the G3 team with the hopes that this whole mess is coming to a close.

The Overlord, seeing his beloved humanity turn on him, decides it is time to start over.

After being beaten by the El of the Wind, Ryo Ashihara and Shoichi Tsugami are nursed back to health by the two girls they helped.

As the Scorpio constellation continues to shift more and more people who were born under the constellation commit suicide. Makoto Hikawa believes that they die after seeing their doppelgänger.

The G3 and G3-X have been dispatched for the purpose of protecting Unknowns. The police believe that a race of Agitos will one day overthrow humanity so why not have the Unknowns kill them before it happens.

With people killing themselves because of the OverLord and two Els killing people with the Seed of Agito the Kamen Riders must unite their strengths to save humanity from extinction.

News reporter Shinji Kido is drawn into a case involving a series of abductions involving reflections when he suddenly found a mysterious deck left by the individual in the victim's apartment. As Shinji tries to figuring out the cause of this mystery, a mysterious woman and a man with a black coat pursues Shinji, asking if he was a Kamen Rider.

Having become a Kamen Rider himself, Shinji tries to discover more from another Rider and his female partner as the mysterious dragon continues to pursue him while his female partner talking about her brother's existence. Having witnessed the battle he participates, Shinji decided to participate in the war as Kamen Rider Ryuki.

Shinji discovers the truth of becoming a Kamen Rider and the battles yet to come while a school becomes haunted by the emergence of a pack of Mirror Monsters. Suddenly, a mysterious figure from the mirror appears in front of Shinji, urging him to fight for his own destiny.

When Darkwing appeared to scare a student, Shinji inquires further about Ren after suspecting that he had a darker intention in his means as a Kamen Rider. However, Yui denies Shinji's accusation about Ren's act as Yui explains to Shinji about Ren's true purpose of fighting.

Shinji investigates an antiques shop where Reiko was attacked by a mysterious person when she investigates the mystery of antique shop owner's disappearance. In order to meet a mysterious person, Shinji gave mysterious person a name card, without realizing that Shinji's action had putting Yui's life in danger.

As Ren tries to close in on the antique store murderer, Shinji unknowingly gives Kamen Rider Scissors the fuel for gaining an edge in the Rider Fight.

Yui is pursued into finding a man by her visiting grandmother, while Shinji encounters a lawyer who brings forth trouble around every corner. In the meantime, Reiko meets an old man who claims he owns some of the mutated species he found near a river bank.

An investigation leads Shinji to find out more on Shuichi while trying to prove his worth to Yui's grandmother to get a new place to stay.

Shinji is arrested after being falsely accused for abducting Nanako, leading to Yui and Ren hiring Shuichi to bail him out. However, as Shuichi attempts to free Shinji from his false accusation, he suspects that Shinji was Kamen Rider Ryuki.

Discovering Shuichi is Kamen Rider Zolda, Ren tries to back out of using the lawyer in saving Shinji, even as Shuichi goes through a crisis of morality and mortality. While Nanako is finally recovered from her last assault, she discovers a shocking discovery about Shuichi.

Shinji pursues Ren after he loses his memory while Yui returns to her brother's university in an attempt to locate his whereabouts. In the meantime, Reiko is investigating the mysterious disappearances of several passengers on a train.

Ren's past comes to light as both he and Yui return to Shiro's last known whereabouts and the birthplace of Kamen Rider Knight, as well as Eri's fate following the secret experiment's aftermath. When Yui finds nearly dead Professor Ejima in the Room 401, he blames Yui for causing a disaster before he dies.

An investigation into elevator abductions leads Shinji to encounter the one he thinks is Zolda while Ren encounters a fortuneteller who wants to stop the Rider Fight. As Shinji encounters Zolda, he accidentally unleashes the finisher that 'killed' Zolda in the process.

When Shinji learned that Zolda is actually Goro, Shuichi blames Shinji for his actions, making him believe that he killed Zolda in the previous fight. Learning from the troubles Shinji suffered, Ren arrives to clean up his name by exposing the true culprit behind Zolda's death.

With Yui hired as a part-time journalist following Chief Editor's absence, Shinji and Yui investigate a series of incidents involving masked men fighting each other controlled by a cruel gamemaster. Meanwhile, the fortuneteller predicts something terrible would happen to Ren if he continues to fight.

The ORE Journal is in jeopardy when Jun Shibaura suddenly appears and becomes the new Editor-in-Chief, only to reveal his plans to use ORE Journal to promote the fatal fighting game to the subscribers in larger scale. To make matters even worse, Jun threatens Shinji by attempting to burn the Dragreder card he stole from him if he tries to turn against him. Ren puts his duel to Jun to decide who's the strongest, while Miyuki warns Ren about the terrible fate that might happen to Ren if he continues to fight Jun.

With Ren doubting his ability to go through killing other Kamen Riders, Shinji and Miyuki contemplate his possible paths and the potential doom that he faces. As Sanako decided to go out for her 'secret association meeting', Yui continues to investigate the truth behind the secret experiments her brother conducted. Meanwhile, Shuichi attempts to release a prisoner.

Imprisoned criminal Takeshi Asakura is approached by Shiro in joining the Rider Fight to grudge against lawyer Shuichi Kitaoka who refuses to release him. Meanwhile, after Yui saw Eri's terrible condition in the hospital, she blames herself for causing this disaster. With the breaking news of Takeshi's sudden jailbreak spreading across the nation, Shinji ride into his action as a journalist for the first time.

Shinji becomes trapped with Takeshi as he holds hostages in order to gain a battle with his former lawyer Shuichi. Meanwhile, in Atori, Jun invites Ren and Miyuki to participate in a game that gathers all Riders together in the Mirror World for one big battle, only to realize that the game he held has backfired on himself.

Shinji questions Takeshi on why he enjoys killing people for his own satisfaction without thinking about others. In the real world, Shinji is surprised when Ren suddenly decides to help Takeshi evade being recaptured by the police. Meanwhile, Yui tries to uncover more secrets about her brother's experiments when she finds a film containing an image of the house she obtained from a research file. As Shinji battles against Takeshi once again in Mirror World, Ren suddenly appears and attacks Shinji.

After discovering Ren's reason for entering the Rider Fight, Shinji hesitates if he should fight or not. Meanwhile, Yui and Miyuki make a discovery at the old mansion that is connected to her and Shiro's past. As Ren prepares another battle with Takeshi, Shinji appears in front of them, deciding that he will fight Ren till the end.

As Ren tries to learn about Yui's past, Miyuki felt time is running short when Shiro targets him for death for disobeying his desires for the Rider Fight. In the meantime, Takeshi kidnaps Goro to force Shuichi to fight him face to face.

Ren battles with Shuichi in the Mirror World to decide who will survive. Miyuki reveals his past to Shinji as he contemplates the costs of changing destiny, as Shiro orders Takeshi to eliminate Raia for his refusal to fight. In the meantime, Reiko goes out to investigate Takeshi's disappearance.

Reiko tracks down and investigates Takeshi in order to find out the truth behind his aggressive, vexed behavior, only to discover that Takeshi had a long-lost brother who still lives. Following Miyuki's death, Shinji blames himself for letting Miyuki die in Takeshi's hands. Disgusted by her brother's reckless action, Yui decides to revisit the old mansion, urging Shiro to stop the Rider War. While Ren, Shinji and Shuichi battle against Mirror Monsters, they discover that the Contract Monsters they owned suddenly disappeared, when Shiro appears telling them that the Rider War is over.

Shinji and Ren are forced to track down Yui as she confronts her brother about her connection to the Rider War and their childhood memories. Reiko tries to find Takeshi's younger brother, believing that will change him for good, only to discover that Takeshi used his younger brother to feed his Contract Monsters. As Ren, Shinji and Shuichi battle against Takeshi, he unleashes a new Card that does something the Riders didn't expect to happen.

After learning the truth about Takeshi's continuous acts of monstrosity, Reiko feels guilty over Takeshi's younger brother's fate. When Goro goes out to replace Shuichi's job, he hires Shinji as a temporary secretary for him as he tries to change his perspective on what to fight for. Still not satisfied by her brother's actions, Yui decided to confront Shiro once again in the mansion. Reiko tries to investigate the truth behind Takeshi's sudden jailbreak.

A young boy learns about the Rider War and steals Shinji's Deck before coming to realize that it is not all it is cracked up to be.

Yui, after a confrontation with Shiro in the Kanzaki Household learns that her brother is dead

The 4 remaining Riders meet a new Rider, claiming himself to be the "13th" Rider.

Kamen Rider Odin uses Time Vent to correct an error in Time but appears to inadvertently send Shinji back in time also. Shinji attempts to save the Riders by changing the flow of time but fails.

Yui tells Reiko about her brother's appearances even though he is apparently dead.

Reiko and Nanako both are stalked and also go missing after having marriage interviews with a man.

A monster is revealed to be the Kidnapper.

Shuichi's previous Secretary, Megumi sues him for breaking off their engagement. After finding out that she is sick, Goro finds out that she is dying. Shuichi goes on a date with Megumi only to find that her supposed fatal disease is just low blood-pressure

Shinji and Ren trying to protect a traumatized girl who witnessed a mysterious disappearances among the passengers on a ship when they discovered Takeshi was boarding on it. To make matters even worse, a girl running towards him, claiming that Takeshi had saved her life.

Takeshi's three Contract Monsters reach their breaking point and attempt to attack him on multiple occasions.

Reiko discovers more information about Shiro Kanzaki's actions in America.

Takeshi eventually manages to feed his three monsters after nearly being stopped by Ren.

Megumi attempts to see why Shinji can walk into and out of glass and supposedly finds out but is later shown to be wrong.

Reiko & the Chief Editor make links between the disappearing people, Shiro Kanzaki & the Mirrors.

Yui begins to fade as do the Riders in the Mirror World.

Ren notices that Eri's health is critically deteriorating, and she only has a few weeks to live.

Shuichi is struggling with his disease as his health is gradually declining.

At the abandoned Room 401, a mysterious Rider makes his entrance.

Shinji receives a Survive Card from Shiro Kanzaki.

Takeshi searches for Shuichi in order to fight.

Disgusted by Shinji, Ren and Yui's discouragement, Sanako forces them to get out and take a walk for a while.

After getting into an argument, later on, Ren asks Shinji to fight him.

In order to survive, Shinji uses the Survive Card and declares that he won't allow Ren to kill him.

Ren and Shinji continue to fight.

Meanwhile, in 2008, Wataru continues to try and figure out how to make a violin that will equal his father Otoya’s, as he finds himself repairing a violin damaged 22 years earlier…

In 1986, Oyoya flirts with several women before Yuri arrives and they are attacked by a Fangire, where Otoya shows prowess fighting back and generating interest in him by Yuri’s boss. In 2008, Wataru is approached by a lawyer who details accusations against his father and victims of his crimes, forcing him to find one good thing Otoya did in the past to resolve matters with the people who were wronged.

As Yuri continues her investigation of Otoya in 1986, she reports back to Shima, who decides to pass on bringing Otoya into their group. In 2008, Wataru works to atone for his father’s crimes, but he discovers someone who refuses to ever forgive Otoya as she transforms into the Moth Fangire!

After a disastrous attempt to try to warm his neighbors up to him with a violin performance, Wataru pleads with Nago to help him become more confident. Nago tasks him to trail Megumi as her bodyguard, but he finds himself working with a strange man claiming to also be working for Nago!

In 1986, Rook begins to target women getting married, and Yuri finds herself face to face with him when he shows up at a wedding she was attending. Meanwhile, in 2008, Wataru meets with Kengo once more, who is convinced that Kiva will be his inspiration for his music. But when they attempt to learn more about Kiva, Wataru finds himself out cold as his body is suddenly inhabited… by his father?!

As the Ladybug Fangire escapes from the Otoya-possessed Wataru, it takes Kengo and Keisuke as hostages to force Megumi into a fight as IXA. As “Otoya” tries to teach her about the resolve needed to be a warrior, she refuses to listen, and time is running out for the hostages. Meanwhile, in 1986, the actual Otoya runs into a mysterious woman at a wedding while looking for Yuri, who is revealed to be the queen of the Checkmate Four, Maya…

After Yuri treats Otoya to a meal to thank him for what he did during the wedding incident, Jiro becomes angry at Otoya’s affection for Yuri, prompting Jiro to propose to her! Stunned, she isn’t sure whether to accept, but Shima thinks it’s a good idea. In her frustration, Yuri sets up a group date where Otoya runs into an old friend. Meanwhile, in 2008, Kengo suggests to Nago, Wataru, and Megumi a group date of their own, where things go poorly, including the antics of a clumsy waitress…

As Otoya works to help Yumi gather money, the Luxur store manager continues to attack patrons, until Shima explains what’s been going on and a trap is set to catch the Fangire. In 2008, Wataru learns the name of the awkward waitress he met before, and after running into her again, the pair hit it off as Mio asks Wataru on a date.

In 1986, Ramon and Riki’s massage parlor is shut down for operating without a permit, so Jiro arranges for them to work at Mal d’Amour, leading Otoya to give Riki advice on love. Meanwhile, Maya is continuing to eliminate Fangires who have fallen in love with humans, but one Fangire named Shinji manages to escape her as he struggles with his relationship. In 2008, Megumi convinces Mio to model with her when one of the other models is ill, leading Wataru into a confrontation with the Grizzly Fangire!

After Jiro’s attack, Otoya is rescued by Ryoko and Shinji, who nurses him back to health, and he inadvertently repays the favor when he interrupts Maya as she’s about to eliminate Shinji. At the same time, Jiro has taken Yuri hostage and loses control, madly declaring that she’ll be his forever, but the admission she makes shocks him. In 2008, as Ryoko’s illness takes a turn for the worse, Shinji takes her to the tree they planted 22 years ago, but when Nago confronts him, he flips into a rage and attacks Mio, upsetting Wataru and unleashing a new power…

With Jiro’s disappearance, Yuri supports Otoya’s induction into the Wonderful Blue Sky Group as IXA’s official user. But when they plan to seek out her mother’s lost ring, Otoya finds himself suffering memory loss after a battle with Rook, when Maya, the Fangire Queen, arrives and claims to be Yuri! Meanwhile, in 2008, Wataru finds Mio has distanced herself from him after an encounter with Bishop, another member of the Checkmate Four!

Continuing to take advantage of Otoya’s memory loss, Maya attempts to learn more about human love as Otoya searches for the lost ring. But when Yuri finds them, she may have to be the one to explain it to the Fangire Queen! In 2008, Wataru worries about Mio’s whereabouts as she hides from her duty as Queen. With Bishop demanding her obedience, she turns to Wataru for help, but gets ambushed by the Spider Fangire, who has stolen the IXA gear!

Nago offers his resignation to Shima, but Shima refuses, granting him access to IXA’s Rising upgrade as he feels Nago has accepted his own weaknesses. However, the celebration is short-lived when Megumi and Shima are arrested. Nago is informed by the senior officer responsible that his former dealings with the Blue Sky Group 22 years prior led him to be injured by IXA, and in order to save his colleagues, Jiro appears and grants Nago access to Castle Doran’s Time Door, sending him back to 1986 and bringing him face-to-face with Otoya!

Still in 1986, Nago tries to explain to Tanahashi that he’s from the future and trying to change history, but Tanahashi believes he’s lying. After Nago attempts to throw Otoya off by kidnapping Yuri, Maya saves him and asks about human love, and while Nago can’t explain it directly, he gives her the button from his first bounty, calling it a good luck charm. Later, when the events leading to Tanahashi’s injury begin to unfold, Nago changes the future and vanishes, but upon his return, after assisting Kiva, he discovers that Wataru holds the very button he gave Maya! But why does Wataru have it?

As Yuri cleans Otoya’s house, she worries about feeling happy when Rook is still on the loose, reaffirming her desire to defeat the powerful Fangire, but Jiro has his own revenge plans and enlists the help of Otoya to plan a four-way attack with Ramon and Riki while keeping Yuri in the dark. In 2008, Wataru reconciles with Mio, but Bishop refuses to accept these circumstances while Megumi is approached by her brother, who makes a donation to the Blue Sky Group in order to force her to return home to her family.

Having been attacked by Rook, Yuri is nearly killed before Jiro manages to intervene, landing her in the hospital. Jiro and Otoya visit her, telling her not to rush back into action, but she rushes out, falling for their diversion as they bait Rook once more. In 2008, Wataru’s relationships are increasingly strained, with Kengo upset by Wataru’s lie about his recovery, and Mio once again rejecting Wataru due to Shizuka’s meddling. With her brother still demanding Shima relieve her, Megumi goes undercover to tail a Fangire target, and when IXA and Kiva enter battle, Nago makes a shocking discovery…

In 1986, Rook enjoys his reward for beating IXA and the monsters as Yuri steals the IXA Knuckle and rushes to Rook, who steals the Knuckle and transforms into IXA! The monsters fight back, but Rook overpowers them easily as he runs wild. But when IXA overloads, Otoya and the others reveal their plan, as Yuri becomes IXA to finish off her mother’s killer. Meanwhile, in 2008, Nago discusses Wataru’s role as Kiva with Wataru, who he takes on as his pupil, further upsetting Kengo. As Bishop pushes Mio further into her role as Queen, Megumi discovers her mother’s notes on Rook and begs Nago to lend her IXA in order to exact her revenge…

In 1986, Yuri is happy after defeating Rook and suggests marriage to Otoya, who is taken aback. Soon after, he runs into Maya, who is playing the violin and poses a question to him about her playing before she leaves to visit her infant son. But when Riki attacks her as she visits Otoya to see if he knows the answer to her question, her role as Fangire Queen is revealed! In 2008, Wataru finds an injured Mio, and the two patch one another up, both unaware as to one another’s roles, while Taiga, Wataru’s first friend, and the Fangire King, reappears!

After Maya defeats Dogga, she is surprised that Otoya has remained in spite of her true identity as a Fangire. She asks him once more for the answer to her question as she offers to help him construct a violin able to bring out his true talent. As they work side by side, Yuri watches with a pained heart as Otoya grows closer to the Fangire Queen. In 2008, Saga watches Kiva’s battle before retreating, while Wataru promises to stay by Mio’s side as the battle concludes. However, when Wataru discovers that Taiga’s fiancee is Mio, Wataru is crushed, despite Mio’s assurances that the pairing was arranged.

Wataru celebrates his broken heart as he tries to move on from Mio, but it doesn’t seem like that will be easy as he still finds himself spending time with her and Taiga. While at an amusement park, an escaped prisoner takes a hostage and Nago attempt to defuse the situation but the newest member of the Blue Sky Group intervenes. It’s Kengo! And he’s sporting a new look and a new attitude, disrespecting both his former friend and his ex-mentor. Meanwhile, a scientist works to infuse one Fangire with the stolen powers of other Fangires, and Mio seeks an audience with Maya to come to terms with her role as queen…

With the Bloody Rose complete, Otoya plays it for the first time for Maya, blessing it with a prayer to preserve music for all time. Yuri, fed up, runs off and encounters Jiro, who learns of the strange relationship between Otoya and Maya and confronts him about it. In 2008, with the Bloody Rose damaged due to Wataru’s state of mind, he attempts to fix it, but it lacks something that gives it power. Meanwhile, Mio begs Maya to release her from being Queen, but Maya explains that the power itself chooses the Queen, while Kengo is given the IXA Knuckle to Nago’s dismay.

Bishop begins the preparations for the wedding of Taiga and Mio, but Mio admits she is in love with someone else and can’t go forward, enraging Taiga. Not realizing it is Wataru she loves, Taiga enlists the help of Wataru, who is himself blind to Mio’s true feelings, to try and determine who she has feelings for. When she meets with Kengo in the park, Taiga confronts her as Kengo attacks Wataru, but Jiro brings Watary back to Castle Doran to observe a mysterious sword embedded in the wall, said to be extremely powerful…

Mio reveals her feelings for Wataru as Taiga lurks nearby, discovering the truth for himself. As Wataru basks in his happiness, Taiga confronts Wataru and invites him to Mio and Taiga’s wedding, telling Wataru he’s always been weak. Jiro brings Wataru back to Castle Doran, suggesting he try once more to claim the Zanvat Sword by wishing for its power from his heart. Meanwhile, in 1986, Yuri confronts Maya, but Maya refuses to attack, knowing she’s taking something far more precious from her…

Mio and Wataru discover one another’s identities, along with Taiga realizing that as Kiva, Wataru is his half-bother. In denial, Wataru runs off, collapsing in the woods. Taiga decides to go speak to Maya to demand answers, while Nago attempts to coach Keno in the use of the IXA System, but his efforts don’t end well. In 1986, Otoya visits Yuri and tells her he intends to find Maya, while the Fangire King is confronted by Jiro as he summons a dark version of Kiva to finish off the Wolfen for good.

Jiro fights a losing battle with the Fangire King, who has also tracked down Ramon and Riki to eliminate them all Arms Monsters, but the trio narrowly escape and run into Maya and Yuri, demanding that Maya act as a shield for them, but she quickly dispatches them, revealing to Yuri that she is a Fangire. Shocked, she confronts Otoya, who calmly says he knew, enraging Yuri. In 2008, Wataru questions his half-Fangire heritage and requests a meeting with Shima and the others to reveal his secret, telling them he intends to be the bridge between humanity and Fangires.

Now aware that Maya is a Fangire, Yuri encounters her once more and intends to kill her, but Otoya stops her, suggesting a picnic, but she storms off. Maya takes her place, and afterward, Otoya passes the Fangire King, who tracks down the Arms Monsters and agrees to spare them if they’ll kill Otoya. In 2008, having regained his senses after Bishop released his Fangire nature, Wataru relapses into isolation as he fears that he’ll hurt another human, while Nago regains the IXA Knuckle, but finds himself facing Taiga as Wataru ignores the Bloody Rose’s call for Kiva…

The Arms Monsters attempt to eliminate Otoya in order to be spared by the King, but none of them can go through with it and the trio decides to split up and run, but they don’t get before the King uses his dark Kiva powers to seal them into the weapons Wataru will use in the future, imprisoning them in Castle Doran. In 2008, Shima fires Kengo, who begs Wataru not to give up with Nago and the others, but Wataru won’t budge. But when a vision of Maya comes to him in a dream, will he find his resolve to believe in himself?

In 1986, Otoya battles Dark Kiva with IXA but is hopelessly outmatched and is taken prisoner by the King, intending to feed him to Castle Doran. Maya pretends not to care, but she seeks out Yuri and begs her to help rescue Otoya after she admits she is in love with him. Yuri agrees, and the two enter the Lost Woods, where Castle Doran sleeps. In 2008, Taiga is upset by Wataru’s decision to fight for humanity, pointing out they’ll end up fighting one another eventually. As Shima visits Yuri’s grave, he is attacked by a Fangire and gravely wounded, but Taiga offers Wataru a way to help him…

In search of Otoya, Yuri and Maya battle the Silkworm Fangire as Otoya’s life is drained into Castle Doran. As time is nearly up, he requests that the King allow him one final performance, playing a song to act as a beacon for Maya and Yuri. As they escape with him, Otoya dons IXA to defeat the Silkworm Fangire while Maya is stripped of her powers. In 2008, Shima acts strangely as the Sungazer Fangire appears, but everyone is stunned when it changes back into Shima! Meanwhile, Taiga and Mio begin the wedding ceremony, but Mio has plans of her own…

In the aftermath of Mio’s death, Wataru confronts Taiga until Jiro drags him to the Time Door, hoping that Wataru will regain his composure if he meets his father. But when Wataru returns to the past, he is hellbent on saving Mio by erasing his own existence and keeping his parents from getting together. When he is forced to reveal his parentage, Otoya is unable to believe it, but he slowly comes around until the two are attacked by a Fangire, leading father and son to fight side by side.

After Wataru rescues Otoya, the King reveals his true Fangire form and attacks, but Otoya escapes and encounters Kivat-bat the 2nd, who tells him that Maya sends a message: they can never meet again. If they do, the King will kill Taiga, who he is holding hostage. Disgusted by his actions, Kivat-bat the 2nd proposes a pact with Otoya, granting him the Dark Kiva powers at the risk of his life! In 2008, Taiga agonizes over Mio’s death until Bishop reveals Wataru did not kill her, he did, in order to send Wataru into despair. Taiga reacts violently, angering Bishop into acting on his own, plotting revenge…

Wataru battles the Bat Fangire after his father is injured, but he’s no match for the incredible power wielded by the King. Enraged, the injured Otoya switches to IXA, but the weaker prototype is easily dispatched by the King, as the IXA armor shatters. Despite knowing that using Dark Kiva again will mean his demise, Otoya transforms and the two Kivas stand side by side and finally destroy the King. Otoya begins to die but puts on a brave facade as his son fades away, returning to the future he came from. Back in the future, Wataru exudes new confidence while Nago fights Bishop but is severely injured in the process…

Taiga and Wataru resume their fight after eliminating Bishop’s revived Fangires. With the embracing of his Fangire side, Wataru defeats Taiga and tells his brother he refuses to help him. While Bishop’s plans to revive the previous King continue on, Taiga visits Maya after she refuses to grant him the power of Dark Kiva, he attacks her and obtains Kivat-bat the 2nd. Meanwhile, Nago plans to resign due to his injury, but Megumi demands he continues to fight, with her acting as his eyes.
