Discuss Star Trek

I thought it would be a fun idea to list moments that for some reason came over untentionally funny. (Objects and costumes can be included.)

What ever it is that makes you laugh , the poster must send "proof ", a photo or a You Tube link.

Shatner's take on this scene when his boby is taken over by an alien is one of my top "TIRAMISU' " moments grinning

And Jahn, who still hadn't reached puberty, would he still have sideburns?

laughing

Side burns went out of fashion with the 60's ,in the new version he would have thin goatee . stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye

So he would become a grup.

And do the hurting?

Considering he'd been living on centuries old food, I'd say anything is possible.

Nah they had one of the first McDonald's outside of Earth, although the increasing demand for more Happy Meals did puzzle the management. grin

You're treading a fine fine with me, Nex. I spent 12 years in the "fast food" industry. 100% Grade A Beef, fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Why is it that these are healthy in a salad, but grotesque in in so-called "fast food"?

Sure Jet I understand that not all fast food chains are like that ,but in all honesty McDonald's is not a brand people immediately associate with healthy food (certainly not after watching the movie/docu Supersize Me) But there certainly are fast food places where you can get good fresh fast food ,but usually over here you are more likely to find that at a local snackbar rather than a franchise like McDonalds.Plus I make a a mean burger myself so I hardly feel the need to go out and buy one when mine tastes a lot better. And the burgers you showed in that Youtube video are hardly the cheeseburgers I come across visiting a large franchise chain ,every time I have meal at McDonalds I kinda feel like Michael Douglas' character in Falling Down when ordering a hamburger wanting to shout out while holding up this thing you would hardly recognise as a "hamburger" and say "what's wrong with this picture? " grinning Besides that our fast food habits would seem odd to most Americans (Yes we do drown our fries in mayonnaise instead of ketchup but so do our Belgium neighbours)so no offence Jet.

You mean:

2 all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun?

What my burger or the ones of McDonalds?

Actually, I read a news story just today that McDonalds is going to start having the burgers in the Happy Meals be cheeseburgers only if specifically requested. To lower the number of calories. Also the number of fries in a Happy Meal will be reduced somewhat, they're going to start making the chocolate milk less sweet, and there will be an option for a bottle of water instead.

Overall, dietary issues are more about portion size and total calories than about the specific ingredients. Also, a healthy salad would have a lot more lettuce and tomato etc, and a lot less beef and bread, than a burger has.
