Pamela Hensley's Princess Ardala character is totally gone and I think she quit fearing being typecast as an alien from outer space.
Gil Gerard demanded that there would be less violence on the show for season 2. Bad move. It was less exciting. I could respect Gerard's concern that he might accidentally get his head bashed in for real in a fight scene but they could have had Buck just engage in more laser gun shootouts for excitement.
Erin Gray was now in outfit that revealed her legs. If push comes to shove I admit she was more attractive in this outfit than in the previous season. But the previous season had her dressed in jump suits that were sexy like a lady exercising can look very sexy. It was weird (on one hand)a little that Miss. Gray did not think she looked attractive enough when she looked like I said above. OTOH maybe by refusing to let her show her legs off they were actually giving her a deep psychological complex about her not being able to show that part of her anatomy. She probably emotionally felt better about her second season uniform. Still, who could say she did not look fabulous in season one.
